Peg 10 lake 1. I fished this peg May 2014 with my mate. We had 16 carp from 20lb up to 51lb 8oz. Superb place is Cretes. Going again may 2015. Cant wait.

Try and think out side of the commercial boilie, You may very likely have cleaned up, with an old traditional bait like luncheon meat. It gave me 58 doubles to 28lb.04ozs in just three months. Ok it was not on this water but one where they said it was blown years ago. I know of a guy who wanted to target the big tench on a carp water in the Colne valley. Its full of very big carp and a small population of very big tench. At the time it was not fishing very well. He said to me the carp boys on here lack imagination, as they all have their boilie heads firmly stuck on. His first night using x-bait an old favourite of the supermarket shelf, saw him have seventeen takes. Most broke him up as he was fishing for tench with eight pound line, but not before he landed two thirties and a forty three. He pulled off the water, one because he did not like leaving hooks in fish and was fed up tackling up every twenty minuets or so and two because as he said the carp were a b***dy nuisance. That said the other anglers buzzers were very noticeable by their silence. All it takes on club waters and commercials alike is something different. That great angler Fred J Taylor said to me. See what every other blokes using boy and do something different. How true old Fred was.

Great fun for sure, real shame about the weather, would have made it really exciting if it had been dry, nice video to have carl.
