Being anxious is not the same as thinking you yourself will do a better job lol. Needles make me nervous. Doesn't mean I think I'll be better at drawing blood, than the nurse.

@@julyol119needles make me nervous but I know I am better than nurses because they usually inject way too fast and bruise me. For my hormone injections I never hurt myself.

I looked into it and for the quality scans that I required, I’d only break even at 600+ scans 🫣 I’m only at 80ish total paintings. So, the math wasn’t mathing

It is the worst when this happens! 😭 For pencil drawings I use another piece of paper between me and the drawing. But for acrylics and the super rare times I pull out the oils...I sometimes use a diy Mahl Stick. HOWEVER...I do what you do more times than not, ngl. 🤣

hiii, I paint on nautical charts! So the background is just as important as the painting itself. I have ruined other commissions by accidentally transferring paint from my arm to the chart (by accident). now I regularly check to make sure I didn’t accidentally get paint on me!

Love it Audrey! I had the same issue with corners covering cushions on a couch. Another tip is use longer staples for fabric to stay secure when going through layers! Great job 🙂
