You should use a dedicated leather cleaner that doesn't contain any conditioners or softeners. We recommend our Leather Cleaner Natural for this specific application.

Thinking of trying the Wet Coat out for maintaining the family car. What I'm not sure about is how much pressure is needed to rinse it off. I'm using the DIY car wash, which comes with plenty of pressure in the normal rinse. But it's hard water. The spot-free rinse is not much pressure. Any advice appreciated!

You can use just garden hose and yield successful results. The only benefit of pressure is the ability to spread the product easily and quickly. Just ensure that you have rinsed it all off after and the lower pressure shouldn't be a problem!

It does not. You just need to be cautious that the seats are completely dry before applying it since the holes can trap the cleaner that you are using.

How often would I likely need to re-coat? I know there are alot of factors in how it lasts. What do I need to do in a year or so when the coating wears away? Can I just clean and decon and reapply or do I need to polish the surface first? thanks!

Great question. You should get 12-18 months from this coating. If you notice that the ceramic characteristics are depleting in that range, I recommend applying our product Total Remover, then reapplying the coating. This will negate the need for polishing!

I use multiple wash pads and never put a used pad back in the wash bucket. Eliminates a rinse bucket. Minimizes scratches. Allows the soap solution to be saved and used at the next wash

Hey guys, I have a two tone vehicle. Some of the trim is plastic and some of the trim is rubber on the bumpers - but it's all light brown. Can I use Trim EVO on light brown plastic and will it make the plastic look darker, and less faded? Should I use Preserve on the light brown rubber? Will Preserve darken the faded rubber? Thanks!

Would definitely use Preserve on the rubber pieces. Trim EVO should darker the brown a bit and help a little with fading. Difficult to say though because we don't really know what kind of plastic it actually is. Best to try a test spot on somewhere inconspicuous first!

Just installed Rim Evo on my wheels on my Mach 1 Mustang. Had enough left to do all 4 painted calipers and even my exhaust tips.... Very easy to apply and remove. Prep of course was the absolute hardest part, coating was a breeze..

You can use this on that steering wheel, as long as you follow the instructions in the kit. We never recommend applying this product below 55°F. Then make sure that the seats are cool to the touch and never in direct sunlight.

Because we haven't seen much benefit from layering wheel coatings. One layer has worked best for us and prevents a waste of product. Also you typically don't want a coating to fully cure in between layers.

For large gaps like door sills and the trunk area, we recommend an Bug and Grime or an APC along with a plush wash mitt. Then an easy rinse with an open ended garden hose. We steer away from brushes in these areas because you risk scratching when you wiggle them around these gritty areas. For tight places, a credit card wrapped in a soft towel is the move!

Good question. For screens you should not use anything more than an alcohol based product like Interior Detailer and don't spray it directly onto the surface. What you are mostly cleaning is dust and fingerprints. When it comes to protection, your only true option is a screen protector.

That would likely yield poor lasting results in comparison to Mohs. Rock the CanCoat for a year. Then after that use Total Remover to knock it down, then apply Mohs EVO!

A single layer gives you up to 36 months. A second (top) layer will give you an additional year. Wash the coating like normal after it has cured. Then do periodic decontamination washes throughout its lifespan. Also use a topper like Wetcoat or Ceramic Detailer!

Hey Gyeon! Quick question on the prep of the leather prior to application. After cleaning the leather, can we still apply a leather conditioner prior to applying leather shield EVO? For example Adam's leather conditioner or any honey conditioner. I ask this because the leather cleaning does strip the leather pretty significantly.

I definitely "overworked" the product. However, using the instructions of 30 seconds before removal as a guide, I got a good feel for when it was ready to remove. You can feel just a bit of stickiness, then it buffs out to a very slick surface feel. There's no question that there is a layer of polysilazane on the car. Really hopeful that this is what I've been looking for and that it lasts a long time. I should have used a better applicator though. The included one started to tear apart 3/4 through the process, and it soaked up too much solution. I feel I could have used less with a better applicator. I used 65% of a 50ml bottle on a Mazda CX-5.

Great question. It is what you should use on full aniline leather that needs conditioning. On leather that you are okay with being slightly slick to the touch and want to do cleanings/protecting more often. We always recommend at least 12 hours in a controlled environment after the application of CanCoat. If you are going to do this then we would apply Cure overtop after!
