I had been with The Knot for many years. One day I noticed they raised my rate by almost 30%. Months had gone by and I hadn't notice. When I confronted them about it they stated they would get me back to my original rate if I stayed and so I agreed. Come to find out a couple months later without notice they deleted my account. They stated I never agreed to the terms even though I had the emails to prove it. I had tons of reviews which have now gone to waste. Their customer service around this issue was terrible.

I work at a banquet hall in the suburbs of Chicago. We lately are getting an inquiry for 50-60 guests. We have to turn them down due to our minimum of 125 guests. Our hall can fit up to 750.

You don’t get the influences of the trends at the end but I don’t think you’re looking at it right. Like Taylor swift influence, I saw someone do this by correlating colors with the eras. The flowers and the bridesmaids dresses were the colors of the eras. Im in Michigan and I see a ton of cottage core vibes at weddings-think moss, mushrooms, etc in northern Michigan where there’s some of pines and rivers and moss etc.

Ok...I love this take! I do see how you could pull off a swiftie wedding...especially the lover era! Cottage core makes sense as you say this but I still need to see one! My daughter says she thinks an enchanted forest wedding we did a few years ago could fall in this category which I can see!

This is a great question! First of all, price is a buying question. Often, they just don't know what else to ask so they start with that. We get frustrated that that's all they care about but it means they're interested enough in you to ask! Second, this also *can mean that it wasn't clearly visible on your website or in your marketing so take that as feedback that even if you have it there, it may not be super prominent and could be added in more places.

In the case where they are asking the pricing question because they may not know what else to ask, How would you respond?

@@_Leila_ So my mom went to the same high-school as her and she told me that when their high-school had a prom she was getting a custom dress from a local designer, all was good until her dress came and it was BAD, I'm talking uneven stitching bad fitting and overall looking unfit for prom, and it turns out that she kept harassing the designer by changing the deadline and sometimes calling her at like 2AM to ask if the dress is done yet Also My mom told me that she was a Bridezilla for her wedding and probably did the same thing to this poor designer.....
