Where I live a Company called " Monterey Domes, " built 2 Geodesic Dome Houses ! They could be seen from the California 60/ i 215 freeways. In the the pamphlet they said that Geodesic houses were 8 Times Stronger by design. And at that time (?) > 1978 to 85, they cost Less than ? $ 50. per yr.- uninsulated and $ 17. per year Insulated to heat ! I'm a Carpenter / Not a Salesman ! The Company folded by possibly the 1990's . I believe it was through no fault of there own, It had to be either the economy or not enough sales. The Dome Houses were around 1400 sq.' ft' & was it ? > 2300 or 3200 sq.' ft.'. You can Adjust the square Footage in the plans !

Okay buddy, I'm all in to black, I love black. However, black attracts mosquitos and angers wasps. Just take that into consideration. You're going to do what you do anyway 😂

My mom did the same technique to the entire front yard several years ago. The only issues were that they did need to be properly weighed down (tricky to do at that scale) and she did unfortunately leave packing tape on some of them which I do still find. But it's been good asides form that, and now she has a flower-filled yard that's yellow, white, and purple every summer.
