I tend to disagree in the sense that compared to the C2/C1 of my other top tier main dps characters (Alhaitham and Neuvillette) she performs on par or better, unless there are *a lot* of enemies present. My Alhaitham is C2R1, and I play him with C6 Kuki, C3 Furina and C2 Nahida, and my Neuvillette is C1 + Sac Jade R5 and I play him with Kazuha, C3 Furina, and C0R1 Xilonen, and in floors with one or few enemies, Chasca is faster :-)

I agree, but I'm only playing since 3.0 and it never felt like a skill check, but rather like "build / character check".

​@@AtiPGenshin5 I think that a hypercarry team is kind of necessary for first half, but second half really just needs a good team with a bow user. My fastest clears for floor one are Chasca and Neuvillette Teams, but I managed to also do it, but slower, with a burgeon team. For the second half I think the answer is dendro or overload. Tighnari Quickbloom or Spread is actually amazing for the second half!

@@Salad0805 Yes it is, similarly to Alhaitham's Quickbloom team. :-) However, I am not sure how important Tighnari's C6 is here, since I can make sure to fire the three shots immediately when Quicken is up.

879 is a lot! More than my Cyno certainly (even with Nahida and Dendro Resonance, he has only ~720). Are you using an EM Goblet or an EM weapon, or do you just have crazy EM substats? You can see my build here: akasha.cv/profile/757207752 According to the Genshin Optimizer, I got diminishing returns when going for more EM (note that you'll have to consider a tradeoff between Hyperbloom and Aggravate - the latter scales better with crits than with EM above a certain threshhold)

Thinking about getting Yae at her next rerun to see if she performs better than Fischl/Kuki/Raiden

Well, it's really just dolphin investment (Welkin and Battle Pass) and a lot of luck on my Furina pulls. My Tighnari is only C6 because I lost my 50-50 to him six (!) times over the course of one year, and I got his last copy using the free standard banner character selector. 🙂

Well, despite Neuvillette not being a nuke DPS, I still claim this is the strongest team overall. Note that my characters are not C6R5, so with whale investment the numbers would be much higher than 100k per charged attack hit ;-)

Fair, but I am generally more wondering whether Alhaitham's best team will be better or worse than Kinich's best team (which will probably be something like Kinich, Mavuika, Emily + Flex) :-)

Yes that's true! Since I already have Cyno as an on field electro DPS it felt like Alhaitham was the right choice (and I was very lucky and got him to C2 today with only ~20 pity). With his C2 (i.e. + 200 EM), this team outdamages all of my other teams now, except for the broken Furina + Neuvilette core 😅

I tested this with Raiden, Razor, Fischl, and Kuki, and none of them came close to Cyno's performance in this team. I don't have Yae and Keqing, so I cannot judge those two. Note that my Cyno and Raiden are both at C0, but both are very well built otherwise - I suspect Raiden to be better at C2 though. :-)

Btw chlorinde is out now and the benefit she has over cyno is she doesn't have to rely on her burst for dmg.

I would love to see a direct comparison for this team (possibly with Yelan/Xinqiu instead of Furina, or with Raiden instead of Kuki, given how Clorinde's self-heal works...). But, anyways, I decided to go for Alhaitham :-) The point in this particular team is that Cyno is on field exclusively for his burst, so I don't think this is an inherent disadvantage of Cyno. It makes him much less flexible in other teams though :-/

Yes of course - you can substitute Furina for Yelan and still 36 Star the Abyss though. If you have Cyno's weapon, you can also make an aggravate team without Furina which is almost as good as the quick bloom version with Furina. However, playing around with Raiden for some time, I am quite sure that, for quick bloom, Cyno is generally better, unless you have Raiden at C2. I am especially curious whether Clorinde will be better than Cyno in quick bloom.

Yup and being compatible with new supports make old characters like cyno, diluc (plunge with xianyun) still viable. It’s a good thing because it prevents power creeping. When compared to nuv who is strong on his own he isn’t really that compatible with supports making him more easily prone to being power crept in the future

Hi! With just Baizhu you won't have enough dendro application unless you go for a single target aggravate team, I think. The budget version of this team, if you have Baizhu, is Cyno, Baizhu, Xingqiu, and Dendro MC. You can substitute Xingqiu for Yelan, if you have her. I was able to 36 Star the Abyss with this budget version, but you won't get 30 second clears like this. But given that Nahida and Furina are arguably the two best characters in the game, you should get them eventually, and then you have everything for Cyno's best team anyways :-)

I don't have Miko, but my Raiden is build as well as my Cyno and she does not quite reach Cyno's dps. I agree with your list at C2 though :-)

I also hope, and think, Cyno will stay better in single target, but I could imagine a Clorinde + Chevreuse Overload team to be (much?) better in AOE. :-)

Following the powercreep we have seen in Fontaine, I wouldn't be suprisied of Clorinde will be better, at least in some scenarios, but I would be very interested in how to build Razor (one of my favourite characters btw) to improve over Cyno: Razor's ascension passive doesn't help at all for quickbloom and aggravate teams, but only for physical / superconduct teams, and I never managed to get numbers as high as Cyno's numbers in quickbloom (although my Cyno is only C0).
