Dude, I could not grasp this whole stoichiometry concept and was getting frustrated! But you broke it down to a MUCH more simpler way and I understand it now! I couldn't understand what my teacher was showing us during a 3 hrs class, but just by watching a 2:45 minute video I now know! Ty!! 😀❤

why does this never work. Used to solve for equations with and without reagents & it never works. I't seems a far better method. does anyone know what the mistake is

This methods great but be aware that the "magic number" is just the moles of the limiting reagent & you must divide the magic number\moles by the coefficient of the limit reagent before moving ahead then you're sweet. Its dimensional analysis. Double check your answers peeps.

Hi Jenny, can you explain how to reach the 3x + 2y < 12 in the beginning from the P=3x+5y ? Thanks for the video!

Hi! I know you commented this 2 years ago but allow me to explain, for anyone who still might not understand. So you need to write out x and y as an equation so 3x + 2y = 12 Then, substitute x as zero, in order to get the value for y 3(0) + 2y = 12 Then solve for y 2y = 12 therefore y = 6 So, if you've made x=0, then y=6! Now, you do the same thing for y, in order to get the value for x 3x + 2(0) = 12 Then solve for x 3x = 12 Therefore, x = 4 Since, x=4, y=0! Now you have two points for placing, on your graph, 0,6 4,0 And have solved for 3x + 2y < 12

Great video! Thank you so much. I had HS algebra 30 yrs ago, now back in college & they don't actually *teach so I was really struggling! I've watched dozens upon dozens of vids for months now trying to figure it out alone & this was so incredibly helpful. Wish I had found you sooner but subscribed now so I'm gonna get this! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
