I first the Michael Stanley Band back in 1982, they were the back up band for Mama's Pride in St. Louis in the old Kiel Opera House. Michael Stanley was a truly genuine person!!

One of the all-time best songs.. both words and music. First heard this on KSHE so long ago.. this is the first live version I've heard and they do a GREAT job. One of my favorite lines is "Singing someone else's troubles helps to ease your own".. things happen, but at age 68 I've got it very good compared to what so many others go through.. recently like people getting wiped out in NC flooding.

So sad that people are still talking in the background as Larry sings the greatest song the Daredevils ever recorded.

I saw MSB open for Cheap Trick. MSB blew them away. I became a huge fan that night.

I'm from Cleveland. A long time MSB fan. I ran into an unknown lady at concert at blossom music facility. I guess she lived on the same street as Michael in an Eastern suburb of Cleveland. She would babysit his kids something like that. She said the guy was truly genuinely a nice person. So glad to hear that. I checked her story and she was legit. Michael Stanley, you really did us proud in northeast Ohio.

Growing up in the St Louis area and loving KSHE it's cool to hear this song again. Spent a career in the US Navy and never heard MSB anywhere other than St Louis. That's such a shame as a whole lot of people missed out.

Did Larry's voice not still sound amazing, even in 2007?

These guys were so damned good & never had the recognition they truly deserved, truly one of the greatest bands in music! I met Steve Cash, John Dillion & Mike Granda, when they played in the U.P. of Michigan in “93” at a casino. I was nearly in tears because there weren't more than 20 people at that concert.

I saw them at the Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Colorado, not far from my home. I got to go on stage when the concert was over and meet them and get their autographs on a photo i had of them. Somebody who ran their fan club who i communicated with got this set up for me. It was awesome and i will never forget it.

I remember when I first heard Rosewood Bitters in high school on the car radio driving around south STL. I headed straight over to the Peaches on Hampton and bought MSB's Stage Pass album. What an amazing talent! RIP

Larry Lee is selling himself short if he doesn’t recognize his phenomenal talent and infectious appeal! I adore him and his prior band, Ozark Mountain Daredevils. I’m a semi-country girl. Born in Alton, Il moved to St. Louis Mo suburbs at age 13. I’m a smart, successful country girl. I love Larry Lee!

I grew up bullied and alone. I bought this album when I was about 13-1976. I can’t believe how much time has passed. I’m an attorney and by outward appearances “successful”, but inside still that lost, sad Jackie blue looking for my spaceship Orion. (Sp)
