The insurance is out the roof for houseboat. Maintenance is hell expensive. Mandatory That you have to have some sort of a registered address not cheap. water tax and river travel fees are not cheap. And that caused all about $6,000 a month. That's not including cost of food, cooling, heating and electricity, fuel, toilet,shower, washing clothes.
