You start the car let it run for a minute but only give it enough throttle to engage the clutch.

You have the idle set way too high. The wheels shouldn't be spinning when it's idling.

hab an der funke das standgas extra etwas höher gestellt. Nachdem er gestartet ist stelle ich das an Funke wieder runter.

@@relaxingcars5427yeah buddy can't go to any rc shows unless I cover my face up or put vasealine over around my eyes and face I remember helping a lad with his rc 1/8th nitro buggy it cud not start n I thought I won't get hurt by the stuff as I dint touch my rc car for 6months or so n quess what I came back big time I look like freddy krugger in a way blisters n very sore so I got to be careful I fly rc planes n heilys now electric but on my own sadly:-((

in cold start you need to open the carburetor a little more than when in use, than it would easily start, especially if enough nitro is in the engine

main thing is prepared to be frustrated, ,,mad,,in need of restraint because jts over the top malfunctioning an your ready to run over it either something really heavy,,😄 HEY when it's right an not making you crazy,,,it's off the hook dude,,straight screaming an beast mode ,,,I do 1/8 scale,,,4x4 ,,,38,000 rpm. at 2.5 hp,,,,that's double insane when considering power to weight ratio,,,,does cyclone donuts an turns into a blur ,,can't even tell what it is ,,,an if u can keep the tires planted ,,,(traction) will pull down a mountain,,,
