Anytime I have no car payment i just keep making the car payment to a savings account and then by the time i need another car I have lots of money towards it if not enough to pay in cash. I never want to get used to having extra money available.

Great job. I think on the tracker where it asks for interest and you put the rates, they mean interest in dollars. So balance less payments plus interest equals new total.

Yes, that’s something I have thought about. Thankfully my dad is able to take care of most issues that come up. Plus this being a townhouse/condo at least the outside is taken care of by the HOA.

I moved to NC from GA a few years ago and was SHOCKED at how much it cost to get the car registered in the state. My car was pretty new so had high property taxes, but there was also three additional fees one of them was $250. So total, I paid about $650 to get my car registered. So be sure to go to the page and see the estimated and then add a couple of hundred dollars just for good measure because it didn’t tell me what my property taxes would be. In comparison, 4 years later I moved back to Georgia (with an older car because my other car had been totaled) and it was $275 to get my car registered. Better to have more than not enough when saving though.

i'd love to hear more about HR and how you got into the field. When I went back to school i thought of pursing an HR degree that was newly introduced but I was more than half way done with an HSA degree so i stuck w that lol.
