My city's soul station played this selection a lot. After HS graduation i enlisted in the Army & never got to buy this album. When stationed in Europe I found the album on cassette tape in a music shop in Paris, France while on vacay! It was about 4 years later after album came out. I played the f out of that cassette in my barracks!

Heavy track, great lineup of musicians. Back in the day this came under the genre of jazz-funk. In the Eastend of London the music garnered a truly amazing following of the coolest people who ever entered a club. No violence, no pretentious bullshit, just cats that wanted to hear great music and get down on the dance floor. This track got everyone dancing. Wonderful music.
