Agrees with you that gamestop is now my #1 stop for cards. Picked up a box yesterday and pulled a green rookie auto /99. The xfractors and raywave was a missed for me. With points and 5% off, got the box for $39. Def can’t complain. I’m only ripping 1 box hoping to hit a skeenes or elly but all good. 😂

Yes, the collation. I’m seeing issues also. For some reason the first time I sorted I had 4 copies of Matt Thais, I don’t know the number, I had 4 copies but as many as 15 of other base cards. Also had trouble getting Elly #350. I have often thought some cards get sent to different parts of the country in different quantities. I have no proof of that. How do they print 350 cards in equal quantities? 7 sheets of 50? Dunno, we’re never going to see behind the scenes. In the old days people would acquire uncut sheets. We’ll never see that again. I’m the guy who commented on the Dodgers cards. I’m a Brewers fan but I have family members who are Giants fans so I understand that pain. 🤣

I got 3 Blasters (1 from Gamestop, 2 in the wild at Walmart) 12 Fat packs, and 4 Hangers yesterday. (1 hanger was missing and Gamestop sending replacement.) I did far better in those than my 2 Hobby boxes. So, I would definitely recommend retail. If you can find it. I will say, though, a base Fat pack is an awful thing to rip through. Had 2 of those, 1 base Hanger, but it had Skenes and Merill and RDs of Holliday and Carter, so money back with base.

If you’re having trouble finding Retail out in the wild, You need to try the less known sources which all sell cards now - Target, **GameStop, **Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, **Lids, & other places as well… if you go to each of those places & can’t find anything then I feel sorry for ya, although I haven’t found select myself either

Sweet a fellow Oregonian. I was wonder if many people go to bi-mart for cards. Usually pick up the value packs from there but haven't seen a mega-box in my local bi-mart.

1500 panini points got me the JJ auto. I don't mind getting 400 panini points instead of a trash retail auto.

I've had PSA ruin two of my cards (both were nice cards fortunately neither was massively valuable) but in my experience they go by their pictures and assume that anything that happened before that was either my fault (not their fault) or happened during shipping (not their fault either). Which is to say I'm not sure having a video showing the cards before I shipped them would make any difference. Sadly. As for the Optic, I love Optic but I'm not seeing the upside this year. It's pretty much just CJ Stroud as the only one really worth much and since you can't get numbered cards or autos in retail, I'm just not seeing it. As always though, love the videos.
