A Sonny James song. I’m old enough to remember hearing it on the radio. Who is singing it for Chic Recordings?

The song “I’ll Never Find Another You” by Sonny James was recorded on October 21, 1966. It was later released as a single in early 1967 and became a hit on the country charts.

The song originated with The Seekers. Recorded in November 1964, and released in December 1964, written by Tom Springfield for the band. Sonny James' version was a cover of The Seekers' tune.

I started square dancing in 1967 age 11 years old. Lots of clubs, callers and dancers. The 1970s came along and we were getting about 12 to 15 new calls per month, which no one could keep up. It was at this time clubs and dancers started to disappear. My other issue is that if you dance mainstream plus, the calls are a mish mash of calls. Are those calls great choreography or do we just use these calls because some famous caller invented it? Now last thoughts: get rid of the square dance costumes, maybe a new format for singing calls and do those one night stands. Finally, buffalo ny is the second largest city in NY State but we only have one square dance club and no round dance club, sad huh? PS-i think we are at least 30 years to late. Why did we wait so long for change?

Right now only in my head. :) After I created the video, I never went back to do the other 2 expanded ones. Honestly I couldn't come up with enough material to fill up two more videos. This one gives you all you need to know to get started.
