When I worked for the US Forest Service the aspen trees were considered the weeds of the forest. In the vegetation cycle of the forest they are helpful to shelter the young evergreen trees until such trees are large enough to survive. This was back when the Forest Service was under the direction of the department of agriculture and not the department of interior like it is now. Back then the forests were considered a crop. Aspens are not a long living tree in most cases. They grow tall and thick then fall over and put so much ground clutter the larger wildlife can't get through them enough to consume their natural foods. In 2018 a forest fire, the Spring Fire, burnt 80 acres I own in southern Colorado. It is now a jungle of small aspen trees and the dreaded locust brush, Mexican Poplar.

I'm gonna plant a Quaking Aspen because aspens support 330 species of native months and butterflies where I'm at in Pennsylvania

Yep they support many detrimental bugs like the pouch catapiller which will destroy all your aspen trees.

Hi, I saw your KZbin channel video and understood that Very nice video. Your subscribers are 1.51k but there are no views of your video because your video is not SEO. I have analyzed and realized that your KZbin channel is not progressing and improving. It is responsible for: 1. Not SEOing channel videos properly. 2. None of your videos have good tags. 3. There is no good tag in the channel. 4. Keywords used are not researched properly. 5. Videos are not promoted properly. 6. Not creating attractive thumbnails. Do you want KZbin full services can I help you?

Could you use netted pebble tile over a rounded surface like a berm? When I put weed barrier down with regular gravel or bark chips over my rosebush berm mounds the gravel or bark chips always ends up rolling off exposing the black weed barrier over time. I want to get some netted pebble tile like cobblestone rock and basically tile it down with a rubberized flexible grout that will last long term on my berm mounds with holes around my rose bushes and plants to grow. Have you ever seen anything like this before?

The quaking aspen is the dominant tree in most of Alberta, where I live. No one plants it here as an ornamental. It's much more of a nuisance. The leaf is configured to move rapidly in the slightest breeze. I believe this is the main reason they grow so fast; it aids in transpiration. I had a plant book that said there were over 150 names for this tree in Native American languages, all of which equate to "woman's tongue." Interesting, but I believe that book is no longer in print. Talk about violating more than one cardinal rule of political correctness.

hi there, just curious if you had to request a permit to shoot/fly a drone in Lake Nighthorse? looking to fly there this weekend
@landscapeallure

Hi there I did not request one, and I will be doing that for this lake in the future as I know they would like it without permission I was staying near by and well filmed it But I would advise on asking first as I will do the same and am doing it from now on Thanks you and hope you enjoy it

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. However I'm unable to remove a color swatch from a custom palette. When I click-hold-drag it out of the palette then release, it snaps right back to the palette. What am I doing wrong?
@landscapeallure
@landscapeallure 11 ай бұрын
To remove it you have to tap it and it will give you an option to trade it with if it goes from a brush you can exchange it for a different kind and such. Is that what you want to do ?

Yes , it's invasive as can be. I did eliminate the plants in my flower beds by pulling a segment off each reed , and dropping some Roundup in the cupped end. It's a Beautiful plant but never again.

not quite sure how it would excel with our 20000 squaremeter architectural florplans.. we´ll have to test it as an alternative to our photoshop workflow, we use for international competitions.. bigest problem rather is, that adobe still is so dominant, you get into problems, when working together with external companys.

@landscapeallure
@landscapeallure Жыл бұрын
Thank you very much. It will depend on the color of the house, generally, I like to not be something that completely mirrors the house but flows with it. from there I like having 3 to 4 options. of course this will depend on where the project is located. in areas like Texas, ( Houston) I don't use it as much vs Arizona where all of it is rock.
