That rear bumper is slick, looks really good nice and tight to the body. Wheels look good too and I'm glad to hear another person that likes the bead-grips since that's what I plan on buying. I wish I could could get some good headlights like that, but I also really like the looks of my 89-91 front clip, and it has weird sized lights.
@SlayFive9 ай бұрын
Thanks man!! Have you checked with Holly? They do have different sizes.
@averyw.39399 ай бұрын
@@SlayFive Yeah, mine are smaller than the standard 4x6 like your K5. Not many vehicles had them so my options are pretty much stock or some slightly better halogens from LMC that I'm running now.
@armygreenfj39249 ай бұрын
Nice K5! Didn’t realize you can fit 37’s on a 4” lift.
@averyw.39399 ай бұрын
4" lift with a little trimming on the front fenders. My rig rubs right now with a 4" lift and 33s, but 37s and some fender trimming is the plan(once I have axles that will hold up to 37s)
@SlayFive9 ай бұрын
Yup. What @averyw.3939 said.

@@averyw.3939not sure if wanna cut my fenders on my k5. I’m currently running 33’s and no rubbing so far.
@averyw.39399 ай бұрын
@@armygreenfj3924 For sure, cutting the fenders is a commitment. It would be worth it for me to run 37s though. My 33s barely rub and not very often, I think it's partially because the steelies I have are a little wider offset.

@@SlayFive So you added a 2nd brake cooler and a second hydraulic cooler for steering? Cant go wrong with extra cooling!
@SlayFive Жыл бұрын
@@dennisreynolds6915 Hydroboost power brakes work using hydraulic fluid pressure (fed from the power steering pump) to “boost” the force on the master cylinder's brake fluid and therefore apply more force to the brake calipers (and subsequently more force on the rotors with the brake pads).

@78squarebodyjimmy102 жыл бұрын
I've been trying to order that kit. But diy4x doesn't know when the will build that again. So I built my own. My question to you is . When looking at your shock from the side of the rig are your shock at a 90° from the axle or do they have a slight angle?

They are parallel with the axle.

@@SlayFive you think I could still use the leaf springs the truck already has? Or do I have to upgrade to a HD version?

Hey Ik this is an old video but I need to replace mine but idk how to take the plastic cover off of the seatbelt part that goes on the side of the truck. The part right next to the door. How did you take it off I don’t want to break mine
@SlayFive2 жыл бұрын
Well your new belts should come with new plastic covers so it won't matter if you break the old ones. Mine just lifted up and then you unbolt the belt from the B pillar.
