Good to hear from you too! Prices are on the rise all over - including in our home country. Generally on this trip we tried to stay under $100 Canadian a night - but sometimes in the larger cities we failed - but still had a great time!

Yes that wind noise is intense. Thank you for the helpful suggestion. I have been trying out rode mics to see what setup works best for the kind of travel that we do. I agree with you. Time to mic up every time.
