It certainly works for me in most Pike situations. If I want to chuck bigger lures I'll just get my old jerkbait rod out. I had quite a few fish on this kit last winter (nothing over 6lbs) and can't really fault it for the money.... Go for it dude !!! Let me know how you get on with it.

I'd say it'll be alright as it's the same line I was using on this video....I have no trouble with it at all....

I cannot remember what website I ordered it from as it was late 2022 and I think it was £104.... UK reels seem to be LHW unfortunately as, for decades, I'd been using RHW multipliers (beach fishing and Pike fishing since the'80's etc) but after using it a lot (and catching lots of PIke this river season), I've got used to LHW.... Alas, a fortnight ago, I clumsily broke the tip section of the rod and will need to order a replacement section as it's been a joy to use on many sessions. The reel has been brilliant also.

Thanks very much indeed and much appreciated....That was one of our very first gigs back in 2012....The band are still going by the way, and we've done over 310 shows all in all. We're also playing bigger venues now (a relief at times).... As for the song, it's a shame we don't play it that often nowadays, but it's a really good Bon era number and I'll suggest we get it back in the setlist a bit more often as I like playing it. Alex Eardley-Scott the music is really but more structured movement was angus was good at... Well at least it looked like it because he was so small! 😂 I don't know, I normally don't have high opinions about tribute bands, your pretty close to them... But I would recommend making a band of your own as in "own". To each his own, as you say... Cheers. Oh yeah btw, he touches the ground with the duckwalk, no offense but that part kind of made me cringe. Take advantage of your height! You don't have to move like a small person like me and below, (although I'm 5'7 and done growing) if you're going for angus, way more AGILITY based movement needs to be added and just craziness. You have a great group of people and if you make songs of your own... You could take off to the charts!

Glad you like the sound! Well in terms of movement, I used to be really good at it back when I was 14 or 15 and I was smaller so after a few years of playing tiny pubs where I can't run about has not done me any good... this videos certainly makes me want to get my act together a bit more! I do a lot of rolling and jumping around (ceiling and floor permitting) but we don't have many videos of that yet I'm afraid. As for other music, they are very busy people all with day jobs which might make it hard to get some practice in as we rehearse only 2 or 3 times a year. But I am forming a blues band at the moment so keep an eye open for that ;)
