I went with OEM NGK Laser Iridium for my Honda Civic 2008 EX. Cost me 40 on Amazon. I almost went ngk ruthenium. Go to know they're quality plugs regardless. G Power platinums are good as well.

The same thing applies for the Duramax when trying to change a glow plug or injector. The fuel filter is also easy to change when you take the passenger side fender liner out, it only takes about 2-3 minutes to get it out.

Hi, so what about when repacking a bearing and needing to get the old grease out? I found that in the cold, I'd have to tighten up the handle push cone on that lisle snug onto the bearing to create a tighter "funnel" to push the old grease out because if I had it loose without screwing it down, it would just push grease around the bearing and not through it. Maybe it was because it was cold out. I took a torch gun and heated up the bearing which did help alot but I still had to tighten the handle push cone down until it was snug and apply a lot of pressure to get the old grease out. Am wondering if I am doing something wrong.

Been using the Duralast ELITE for few years now, ever since they first came out and they do lost a lot longer than others. I drive a lot and with regular pads I would change them every 6 months. With the ELITES they last over a year. Also, it's not "in theory" that you could replace them for free. I've been getting free pads from AutoZone for many years, even before the ELITES

By any chance, did you have it automatically oiled via an oil fogger in the line? I find my tools last much longer with automatic oiling
@electricblakeytАй бұрын
@fullbore782 no, I did oil it before every use. It was the tolerance in the ratchet head That was the problem. When under a load, it would go back and forth but not ratchet, the 3/8 anvil where the socket goes Was covered in metal shavings

I purchased one of these and had to return it because it did not work for my application on an aircraft. The pump seemed like it had vacuum, but would not pull the brake fluid, I tried different pressures with no success. The only thing different was the aircraft I was working on has a manual park broke between the master cly and the bleed valve. I think the vacuum was not high enough to over come the extra resistance of the park brake that was in series.

You should have done a simple drain and fill of fluid along with adding the shudder fix. This would have most likely solved the problem immediately.

I just installed these Elites and I just realized they may be directional. Are they? I don’t recall but I don’t think the center line in the pad on mine was angled, I think it was straight. I didn’t look closely at the chamfered edges to see if one was larger.

Well you didn't find the leak. You found that you have a leak. I'm going to assume that you already knew that you had a leak due to overheating and loss of coolant. So what exactly have you accomplished? Nothing no sir. You need to reassess your priorities and find the actual leak so that you may find the cause of the leak and repair the leak. The flashlight's a nice addition. Good job
