The Metro system has gone "ticketless" now. You now need to get a card and load balance on it (that's what the machines shown in your video are for: you can get a NEW card there or top up one you already have). The card costs $15 (~0.85 USD) -- but you pay $20 (~1.1 USD) as it includes one trip already -- and the same card also works on several other transit options: Bus Rapid Transit "Metrobús", Light Rail, Green Buses, Trolleys "Trolebús", even the Bike Share "EcoBici" network.

Was just there at the end of March, we paid $30USD to go to Condesa, next to the Honduras embassy on Alfonso Reyes. About 12.5km away but depending on time, we had heavy traffic. We didn't use the taxi stand because we walked passed it though he was one of those pink CDMX that was just out there waiting and saw us, we walked all the way out to the end thinking there was Uber but there wasn't. Uber around the city was easy and super cheap and convenient. Tip the drivers more if you can. It's crazy I can take an Uber over a long distance and an instant noodle cup there was still more expensive. We didn't end up taking any form of public trans since Uber was more convenient.

@@andresmoves There are a lot of elevators in the airport baggage area. I think you were too caught-up with looking for signage and when you read one sign early-on, there was a bank of elevators behind you. Your camera, photograhing your face, caught the elevators behind you. But, as you found out, there are many more elevator banks in the baggage claim area. As to the transit hub/train station, having stairs going down and only an escalator going up is a very strange design. Rather stupid to assume most folks will have no luggage. There likely were elevators somewhere along the way.

I'm not a Broward County Transit customer because I have a car but I want to know why the bus stops are so close to each intersection? It's absolutely dangerous when there's a line of cars in the middle of the intersection because of a bus that won't move and sits there for 20 minutes
@andresmoves Жыл бұрын
Not a clue, I’m not a city planner. I could say that I agree with you in that the public transport infrastructure, as well as bicycle lanes, pedestrians, and every other alternative transportation option in south Florida is very poor and dangerous.
@tw02757 ай бұрын
People need to use common sense. Do not ride behind a vehicle that you know is going to constantly stop. I NEVER ride behind commercial vehicles. Especially a transit bus.
@MademannTeddy5 ай бұрын
Fam it’s literally like 30+ ppl that ride the bus daily u can’t possibly think they all have the same stop? Think for a bit.. u have a car which u can drive alone or with ppl u plan on going to the same place with- they don’t.. ppl got places to be that don’t seem far while in transit but walking distance is no joke. A 30 min drive can easily become a 2hr walk so they gotta put stops everywhere. It’s not like the train where one train goes to one destination that everyone tryna go to. Hope that makes sense & my fault if I sound rude but that question was kinda ridiculous.

Approximately how much time it take TO REACH FROM FLL TO MIA , I mean from airport to airport including Mia movers and bus from tri rail station to FLL airport ?
@andresmoves Жыл бұрын
Very tricky question, there is many factors involved here, day of the week, time of the day, and whether shuttles are readily available, trains are not as frequent so there may be long waiting times at the tri-rail station.
