Sorry, isn't the hull supposed to have rivets and "iron sheets" in 3d ? It looks so smooth

yes of course but at the scale of 1 / 144th it would be tiny ...

@@passionmodelisme4945 thanks. the 1/200 Trumpeter Titanic hull is full of details, probably because it is made of polystyrene by 3d print. I imagine it would have been more difficult to recreate those on wooden sheets

@@micio_mau_edits6119 indeed yes, I could not see myself modifying the kit by trying to reproduce by hand the +3 million rivets of the hull, already it took me almost 3 months to take over the portholes with a small file ...

When we are passionate, we do not count ... I buy the kit +1000 euros ($ 1120) but with all that I added inside, I am +2500 euros (+ $ 2900), the accuracy of the kit is good except for a few details that I modified as funnels...

Huge model of Titanic, but highly expensive! I'll stick to building the 1/200 scale card stock version from J.F. Schreiber!
