It is close to suïcide as these waves can suddenly sneak up, pull you in and it is Iceland and super cold. Many have drowned there. It is a notorious beach. Warnings everywhere.

They definitely are suicidal! What complete idiots! Tourists who obviously know nothing about Icelandic waters or the treacherous sneaker waves at Reynisfjara! The Icelandic Black beach is known as one of the most dangerous beaches in the world. A sneaker wave rushes up the sand and can drag you in unexpectedly! I have seen numerous people fall over. That moron really didn't know how close he was to death!
