Thanks for watching! I’ve owned this Navi for almost 3 years now. Nothing major has gone wrong. So far it’s been pretty reliable. Make sure to keep up with maintenance and also consider how often you ride. Carbureted bikes don’t like sitting for long periods of time like months. So far I’ve hit 8000 miles. This bike is cheap, and not that fast, but gets the job done! Good luck!

I owned a 2004 Prius for 12 years, put 330,000km on it before selling it. I saved about $20,000 on petrol over my period of ownership. My wife has a Mitsubishi plug in hybrid now, it goes one or two months between refuelling. She has a home business so it charges during the day using our solar system, so it’s almost free to run. All our local driving in that car is electric.

A modern “gas” car with a 8 or 10 speed transmission, how long will that last and what will it cost to replace the transmission? We have flying cars, helicopters.
@getphatfoodАй бұрын
A transmission rebuilt, used, or brand new can cost anywhere from 3k-10k on average. Helicopters are not flying cars by the Jetsons standards 😆
@ridingwithpatАй бұрын
Our next car will be a BYD Seal electric car. We will keep the diesel towing/touring car. My last commuter motorcycle was electric and was early electric tech built in 2010. Unfortunately it died and the company that imported them went broke, so no parts available. I replaced the electric motorcycle with a Navi which works for me. I don’t like putting petrol in the Navi every week or 2, it’s so inconvenient compared to charging at home overnight. Yeah, about 50% of old cars are still going, the other 50% are dead. Maybe EVs are going to be better. Maybe in your unique situation an EV won’t work. For most people they are a good fit. If Tesla sucks, buy something else. If you couldn’t afford a cyber truck don’t wast your mind thinking about it.

Your not going to get 1.8k for that. Dropped, 7.5k miles, parked outside etc. You can list it at 1.5k but you can take it for closer to 1k. Its still overall really cheap bike when you consider the average car cost like 40k and starter bikes are getting to 6k. If you got the bike used you could have sold it much closer to what you got it for.

@getphatfoodАй бұрын
Thanks for watching! First, make sure you are listed as a scooter on UberEats. I was able to toggle between my car and the Navi on the UE app. Second, I’ve never used Apple Maps but on Google Maps you’re able to go in your settings and avoid highways and tolls. See if there’s a setting like that in Apple Maps.
@wagezombieАй бұрын
@ I am listed as a scooter I think, but it keeps trying to send me on the freeway when using the app, I have to use apple maps and it does have an option for avoiding the highway, but im afraid i wont see any possible orders if im apple maps not the uber eats driver app.
@getphatfoodАй бұрын
It should still ping you even if you’re not on the app. Just keep it active in the background. As long as you get to the correct address that’s all that matters. Tbh I haven’t worked the apps DD or UE for more than a year so I don’t know how well they work now. But I used just use the UE app to take me to the customer. There were a few times though that I had to switch to Google maps, sometimes the UE directions took me to the wrong address or wrong side of the buildings. Good luck and I hope you make $$$!

My friend. There are 3 best times to buy a house. First: Yesterday Second: Today Third: Tomorrow If you try to time the market you will never get it. Just save the money and buy it. 10% down payment today with the house prices rising will not be sufficient next year, next 2 years. Just buy 2008 was a good time to buy a house? Yes houses were cheaper, but people did not have savings, unemployment was rocket high and banks were not giving out loans if you did not have that. And people who had money saved lost their jobs so they had to dig into savings. Its naive to think you would buy a house when a lot of people were losing theirs because you would also be in a bad situation at the time, otherwise why dont you have a house right now?
@getphatfoodАй бұрын
Thanks for your input! 2008 sucked for a lot of homeowners. If I was financially stable back then I would’ve totally jumped on buying a house. We learn from our mistakes, and I want to do this the right way.

my goal is to buy a house too. I dont make much at all. but I have VA home loan I can use. the plan is to get out of debt, save up around $20k for a down payment, and put up for a $250k house (I live in sac) its not great location but if I can get my mortgage to around $1300 a month, I’d be set for the totality of the mortgage loan. here’s to not having a car payment and having a part time job plus food delivery, hopefully thats enough. save for around 2 years then pull the trigger where ever we land. figured I shouldn’t put it off anymore than that.

Wow only 8k! Not bad! For miles tracking stride app is pretty good. I also used strava for a more accurate map of where I went. Stride also helps keep track of financials but I felt the gps tracking wasn’t as good as Strava. I ended up using Stride for when I used the for deliveries the Strava for the bike so I wouldn’t get too confused. Happy delivering!

I have purchased many vehicles over the years all with cash , it is the best way . This requires a good reliable mechanic with reasonable rates , better yet fix it your self todays manuals are step-by-step the down side some vehicles have many specialized tools = much $ . You said to sleep in though you need some sort of van if you are going to do that and you need to check local laws and have a spot planned out Travis Heinz you tube sleeps all over the US and has many many issues. If using cash payment pick you favorite 3 vehicles search the internet for your best choices I used my phone and took a screen shot of all my picks and sorted them into categories . But the real solution for your problem is move so you are 5 minutes from work guarantee this the best , I did this 5 min thing for 20 years the extra sleep alone was worth every penny . If it's too expensive where you live you need a new job .

I bought my Navi in '23, C$3,500 out the door (note that's Canadian dollars). The MSRP is currently a bit under $3K BUT, the dealers add on delivery, taxes, prep, doc fees etc. which add another $800+ to the cost. However, I've had a LOT of fun on it. For my 2022 BMW R1250GSA, I paid a bit over C$40K for it. The dealer just told me they'd give me C$16K for it in trade-in. That means it would have cost me C$12K a year to own it. F'ing rediculous. Yes, Vehicles depreciate over time while Property appreciate (not that you can drive a property to work) :). Anyway, I'm happy with my purchase. I bought the Navi to do errands and run around town and it is perfect for that.
