Subtle and strong leadership from these tremendous humans, Rob, Gord, Johnny, Paul, and Gord. I hope many more tune in to this conversation. Thank you for putting this together!

What a tremendous interview. Mike does a great job explaining a lot of the documentary as only a story teller can. Dan asked excellent questions and let Mike take over the conversation, which is really smart

Great content, thanks. This rings so true. Assuming money is a bigger motivator than free time

the business unit I work in was designed from the ground up as a geo dispersed team on 3 shifts. I'm the only one in that unit at my location. When HQ said to return to office, I was like, whatever and did not go into the office. That was 2 years ago. Last week my boss asked me if I was going in to the office at my location...I told her no. She just said OK, don't bother unless you need to...LOL. Even my boss is over the whole issue.

How did we get to the point of blaming workers instead of leaders for being motivated?

Exactly. Nobody ever wants to talk about that one.

All the CEOs pushing return to office are white men. That cannot be a coincidence. They cannot bear to lose their power. Demanding butts in seats is the last death roar of these old dinosaurs.

The problem is that you still have the commute and once you're at the office you don't want another commute right away. That stuff about face-to-face interaction is just bullshit: that is nothing more than a distraction and I can't work effectively if I am constantly getting interrupted.

I work for a company that has an enforced work-at-office policy. All my colleagues spend at least 4 days a week at the office, 8am to 5pm. A year ago when this started (prior to that we were a WFH (work from home) company) i simply said I am not going to do that. It didn't go down well, but as I am a director and shareholder I just ignored the comments and carried on with WFH. Until recently I was coffee-badging on fridays, this obviously on request from company management. Two weeks ago I notified them that I would no longer be doing this, as I can't see the point. Your video expresses my sentiments quite well. Again, management has taken this badly, and again, I'm not paying much attention. I do my job, I do it well, and I do it remotely. End of story.

THIS MEAN: leaders are usually not fulfilling their outright role because what I heard is that leaders should end up making sure they only keep those who IMPROVE! ... This being said.. the fact that every single organization is not UTMOST maximum ACHIEVING means... means those in charge have settled for minimum standards... in competition with minimum exposure instead of UTTERLY unstoppable forces. ?MORE SOON? What if my leader .... ..... ..... (insert inspiriation and passion)

I had the absolute pleasure of joining Dan Pontefract on his enlightening podcast "Leadership Now"! A massive thanks to Dan for having me as a guest and for creating such an engaging platform where thought leaders come together to explore and discuss the nuances of leadership in today's world. Our conversation was an enriching experience, diving into the core concepts of my show "Courage to Leap & Lead" on KZbin and my podcast of the same name. We spoke extensively about a concept very dear to my heart: Microcourage. What is Microcourage, you might ask? It's all about the everyday acts of courage that we accomplish but are often overlooked. It's the bravery required to tell the truth when a lie is the easier path. It's about offering help even when there's a risk of rejection. It's the strength to say "no" when feeling pressured to say "yes." 🚀 Dan and I explored the significance of these micro-moments of courage and how they shape our leadership style, our character, and, ultimately, our destiny. These might seem like small acts, but their cumulative impact on our lives and those around us is colossal. For those interested in diving deep into the world of Microcourage, how it reshapes our approach to leadership, and how it empowers us to take leaps and lead fearlessly, I invite you to tune into the "Leadership Now" podcast. Listen to the podcast 🎧, watch my show 📺, app.mypodcastreviews.com/podcasts/oVHoye/reviews/7541178 and let's embrace the power of Microcourage together. Let's redefine courage not as a heroic, grand gesture but as a daily act of bravery, resilience, and authenticity. Because every act of courage, no matter how small, can inspire change. Thank you once again, Dan, for this wonderful opportunity to share my passion and insights with your audience.🙏
