"it's got 44 horsepower so its not lacking in the horsepower department" Hah, says who?
@MountainStandardTimeWithLandonКүн бұрын
Considering a “race” bike 4 stroke 450 has approximately 52 hp. 44hp ain’t bad!
@Kamel41922 сағат бұрын
I was only kidding, dirt bikes don't need a ton of horsepower as it becomes a liability rather than an asset after too much. On the street though, 44hp usually means it's going to start feeling a little out of breath once it hits around 70mph. That said I love my little KTM 390 adventure which also has 44hp. I think people are too quick to dismiss smaller adventure bikes so I'm glad to see more options in the lineup.

I have this ski and love towing with it. Great power. In Florida we can't have more people on the ski and being towed than what the boat or ski is rated for, or we could get pulled over. So a 3 person ski can have 2 on board towing 1 person or 1 person on board towing 2 people. 2 on board towing 2 would get me a ticket if seen by Fish & Wildlife or a Sheriff patrol boat.

Today i did my 1st guided snowmobile tour. Im just wondering How do you ensure there is land beneath the snow ? Like what if the snow at cliff was just hanging and fell down due to weight. Sorry if this just doesn't make sense.
@MountainStandardTimeWithLandon4 күн бұрын
It makes sense! Sometimes there is a cornice that is unsupported and those generally form where there is wind and the drift goes out over thin air! In this situation I knew I wasn't on a cornice because of the trees on either side and how the terrain was.

Your buddy was standing on the downhill side of his sled so of course he rolls it in the direction of gravity. Looks fun though! Except for the freezing cold. It's been -31 C here for at least 2 weeks straight and so damn cold that in less than 5 minutes outside your pants freeze solid and then you say farewell to all the feeling in your feet, butt and fingers!

As much as we the viewers wanted you to succeed and push the limits for entertainment value, I definitely think you made the right call to abort. A conservative decision on the side of safety is always the right call. Plus it gives you something to strive for to complete in the future.
@MountainStandardTimeWithLandon8 күн бұрын
You’re right! Part of me really wanted to push it but part of me knows better as well. Making it a group decision helps to keep everyone on the same page as well! Always another day to try and complete it!
