I would love to obtain a copy of the documentary made by Sigma film. My father was the last to escape from the camp at the age of 18. Is it possible to get a copy of this?

This is the link for the best Loibl Pass documentary : www.aniceprod.fr/Un-tunnel-pour-le-Reich Made by Anice Clément a few years ago, you can buy the DVD on her site. I tried to find Egon Humer movie (Sigma film) but without success. An other personal link : www.campmauthausen.org/enseigner/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=138&Itemid=836 Best regards

My father was also at Loibl Pass through Matthausen and was there when the war ended. Actually, the story he told was that he and 2 others took off right before the end of the war. Trying to locate the Sigma film also, but the reply they gave you to your question of how to locate the film, it just keeps buffering.....

Many thanks for posting this here. PPA (Popski's Private Army) were an incredible unit of brave men who achieved much during the war. In my humble opinion they never did receive the recognition they deserved for their heroic acts. I consider it a real privilege to have met a few of them before they passed away. At last, there is a commemorative marker for these men in the Special Forces section of the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. This is due to the, seemingly, unending and tireless work of foPPA (Friends of Popski''s Private Army).

@@tclbrothers , as I research my Dad's journey through WWII, which included Matthausen and Loibl Pass, I came across this video! It looks like the photos were taken towards the end of the war. One in which 2 men appear, it's the photo in the worst shape, is remarkable in that one of the men looks like my father! I contacted the woman who made the documentary about Loibl Pass, as you suggested to an earlier commenter. I hope I can continue to learn more about Loibl Pass. Any other suggestions?
