Hi Ste, plan is to do some more close up videos with tactics I use :)
@markwhibley9787Күн бұрын
What rod is that ?
@jameslewisfishing23 сағат бұрын
On the feeder I start on a Freespirit 13ft Hi-S feeder special, awesome rod for playing fish but then when wind picks up move to a 14ft Ctx which will cope with any chuck going 💪
@jona-op9bpКүн бұрын
That's bad angling leaving your rod unattended like that you were lucky , but apart from that great angling

I can help with that Allan, I've got two Freespirit Helical rods for the bomb and bag work. 11ft for the shorter chucks with a 4000 reel and 12ft with a mini big pit on the longer line. Both rods are fishing a 1.5oz elasicated Guru bomb, with a 12 inch hooklength and size 10 Guru Pellet waggler hook, feel free to fire across anything else you'd like info on :)

@jameslewisfishing7 ай бұрын
Great question Pete. It's actually a discontinued model, an old Daiwa Yank and Bank 12ft. Having used a few on there you need something with some meat in the blank to get the control. What i would say is it wasn't that expensive and i think a slightly lower grade carbon means it's a bit more forgiving if you're looking for something similar.

NEVER remove your hand from the reel when playing a fish! You nearly lost your rod and putting a fish at high risk of death! Just loosen your drag on the reel
@jameslewisfishing7 ай бұрын
A fair comment to a novice, not lost a rod in 30 years and was never going to pull rod out my hand. Fish would have been in more danger making the snags that are out of shot on a looser drag!
