The best part about the Sunfire Elf and Sol Regem plotline was that nobody saw it coming. The writers set up the plot twist so flawlessly without anybody catching on, that Sol Regem destroying Katolis was completely out of left field, yet still made perfect sense for both the story and the characters. For almost 3 seasons, we all assumed that the Sunfire Elves' mess was just a side story. Most people weren't even particularly fond of it and the only hints that it was part of a larger plan were a few brief shots of Pharos' scar from when Aaravos' demon worm bit him in Season 3. Karim's arrogance and stupidity had consequences that neither the characters nor the audience could have predicted. That was a masterful way to write a plot twist in a long running story. Take something seemingly irrelevant to the main plot and use it to cause devastating consequences for the characters and their world. And it all ties back into Aaravos taking over the Sunfire Elves' home way back in Season 3. The only arguably problem is that Pharos was barely a character. Without him, Aaravos' plan wouldn't have worked, yet Pharos had no personality at all. However, I don't know if this even counted as a flaw because we saw Pharos in the same way that Aaravos saw him. He was just a puppet and nothing more.

Why is this video so underrated? 😭 The narration was relaxing, acknowledging of its own biases, and argued a point without trying to promote any specific way nor point blame at anyone else. The message was thought-provoking, used lots of examples and ideas of its own, and the message was very clear & rational! I'd say it was an incredible video. Personally, I am using this as worldbuilding inspiration, but I see it as promoting a better mindset about real world politics as well. 😁

I don't know much about this character, but I take it she's a Anti Hero as opposed to a by the book hero, she once took a Pedophile to a place with the intent of getting him killed by a creature, when she could have just forced him under the threat of death to turn himself in the police and confess to his crimes. While she didn't the scumbag herself, getting intentionally getting someone killed by someone or something else makeems you just as guilty as who or whatever killed him.

It's got potential. I'm all for the Michael Turner era of Witchblade. People can hate his work all they want, he's the GOAT and Top Cow knows it. Seeing that they've toned the sex appeal down here is defintely a downgrade for me, but it's not a dealbreaker overall and it's clear they've learned their lesson from the 2017 effort. I'm more so a fan of The Darkness than Witchblade, but it's nice to see them making a promising effort with this reboot. And if it flops, there's always the old stuff.

I don't think lord Viren was ever evil. Arrogant and misguided yes, but his intentions were always benevolent. I never once believed he desired power for personal gain. He wanted what was best for for his kingdom and he arrogantly but genuinely believed he knew what was needed and he needed to be the king and the ends justified the means.

To be honest, I was kind of bored with the Sunfire Elves subplot for seasons 4 and 5 because I wasn’t really sure why it was there, as it didn’t seem to have much to do with the main narrative, seeming to be more of a side story. But after watching season 6, I can definitely appreciate it a lot more now. It’s a bit slow, but it builds up the tension very well and capitalizes it with Sol Regem destroying Katolis. Now I’m not sure if Sol Regem knowingly chose to abandon Kareem and just destroy Katolis or if he actually believed he was destroying Jinai’s army, but I honestly don’t think he really cares at this point. All he cares about at this point is just destroying people he believes to be his enemy, whether human or elf. His decision when presented with the sunseed to regain his wings rather than regain his sight, shows how much his own pride and arrogance have blinded him, and end up being his own downfall. At the start of season 3, he is willing to destroy an entire city of innocent people just to prove a point. And as we find out at the end of season 6, his arrogance blinds him to how his anger has hurt the ones closest to him, to the point where no one is sad when he is gone, and how his actions may be the trigger for an entire war. I’m curious to see how Ezran will respond to this in season 7, and how it might affect his leadership going forward. His development has honestly been very lacking these past few seasons. Idealism is good, but Ezran is honestly a bit naive if he believes that everyone will just agree with him because he wants peace. And to be honest, he makes decisions that are morally right, but logically stupid. Saving the baitlings from Finnegrin may have been the morally right thing to do, but was extremely shortsighted because he assumed Finnegrin could not possibly catch them. Rayla could have died and Callum had to use dark magic to help them survive, because Ezran didn’t think of the possible fallout out that decision if things went south, assuming that everything would be okay. A bad decision isn’t okay just because you live to tell about it at the end of the day. It’s the same problem with Izuku Midoriya in MHA, who turns his body into Swiss cheese constantly because he thinks he can just get healed afterwards. It’s selfless, it’s stupid. Sorry for the rant, but Ezran just irks me as a character because while I wholeheartedly agree with his message about making peace instead of continuing the cycle of violence, the black and white nature he treats that message with makes it come across as patronizing. There’s not much nuance in the way he packages it, and he just assumes people will listen to him because who would want to continue fighting? In season 3 it works, but by this point it is a broken record.

I like the way you approach this topic. You were objective and non biased. You looked at all sides of Michael Jackson's life. I used to believe he was weird and that he was a creep, but after researching his life to get an unbiased opinion, I realized that with all his fame, he was truly lonely. His life was cautionary tale about the dark sides of fame. He was so famous he couldn't go anywhere in this world without being mobbed. I think that automatically makes you weird, because you cant experience the world has it really is. I have a lot of admiration and love for Michael Jackson the person. I think he was a kind soul who was greatly misunderstood. In regards to the allegations we can speculate til the end of time, but only God knows the truth. I believe in my heart though that he never hurt any child. He was a big child at heart and he often said that children didn't see him as star but just as any other person. He said adults would only see him as a star so they were never genuine in thier interactions. He often spoke about how the bible says to be humble like a child and his humility always showed how gentle, kind and loving he was. The media made a spectacle of his every move. He couldn't move without being judged and photographed. I cannot imagine what living like that must have felt like. May he rest in peace. ❤

My favorite Red quote is when they're selling the house, and Red shows the garage to the husband and says, "there's plenty of space and a bench for all your tools." The guy says he's going to turn it into a yoga studio and Red responds with, "I'm gonna turn your ass into my foot studio." 😂

Christ, talk about having an opinion that's so biased that they couldn't even be professional about it. Captain Fall was a well animated show that had similarities to shows like Community, Archer, or Inside Job. It featured a great cast of voice actors. The shows premise was good, a pushover character learning to stand on their own, but not without failing along the way. The underlying plot was good as well. Have a bunch of pirates moonlight as a cruiseship with fun themes to highlight issues with the characters or to give them glory whenever needed. The jokes were alright, sometimes predictable. But that's what we've come to see with many types of media, even this joke of a youtuber. They are predictable, and you can tell where it's headed. But the same can be said about this youtubers criticism and shows like Rick and Morty, Jack Horseman, and shows like them. What Captain Fall did, it did well. And showed promise to get better!

You mentioned the word power ad nauseam, yet you failed to recognise that the word power is a synonym for "control" in a societal sense. And in that societal sense there are millions of people amongst us who actively refuse to be controlled, in many ways, ranging from so-called "Dropping out of society", to the many rebellious acts we see around the world, to mundane criminality resulting in death and it's inevitable avoidance of the possibility of being controlled. The question, "Just how much power can one person effectively wield?", is not an important question at all, neither is it in any way a thought experiment, as you so loftily term it. _The truly important question to ask is, "How can we responsibly address the obvious issue that those who seek the power of societal control are also those who are the least worthy of it?"_ , or to put it another way _"As humans are so easily corruptible _ as all of human history is testament to - and nobody is immune to corruption - to the point that we have been forced to invent incorruptible humans in our fictions and religions - , why do we continue to put so much power/control in one humans hands and expect everything to work out fine?"_
