Thank you for the time and effort - individual mics would go a long way to clear up the hollow echo sound that your mic makes - - -

EXCELLENT EXPLANATION of the rock'n'roll basic steps and turns and how to get the hands grip of the two dance-partners while dancing. Your teaching is high class because in very simple words you make us understand the rock'n'roll dance and you are well able to mention every detail of the dance. BRAVO !

A request, why not send a video separately for those who are trying to learn the steps without a partner? Especially males since males guide

Thank Chris and Christine. I love your humble approach and the advice to make the mistakes but you keep going. Also touching that you keep in the amusing parts "where are you going?!?" :)

Chris and Christine. I love your video. I'm learning swing dance which is remarkably similar, particularly with the turns. In swing, the counting for the steps is 6. Although RnR is in 4/4 (or 8 beats if slowly), the actual RnR steps are 6 beats if I'm not mistaken (1 +, 2 +, rockstep = 6). Once I realised this, the moves all made sense. Thank you taking us slowly through this. Richard (ACT, AUS)

there is rock in 6 beats and rock in 4 beats, what should you call the one you dance to?

Wish there was a video of what the hands look like when there's spinning involved. Close up camera on the hands would be great.

My wife and I live in an over fifties complex in Queensland. The other night my wife and I performed a couple of Rock & Roll dances (we haven't danced for approx. 15yrs). At the end of the evening many people commented on the dance. Since then people we meet have asked if we would teach them to dance. I watched your video and I'm very impressed. I will set out to see how many are genuinely interested. Your four step is very well presented.

Hi Christine and Chris. I wonder if I could ask you if you could do a lesson on one particular R&R move. Is it ok to give you particulars in these comments, or should I email you? Hope it's not inconvenient. Thanks and Cheers, Ray

This is so weird but your dance tip is in 3/4 time. It can be counted as 123& + 123 &. This is confusing because all rock music is in 4/4 time.

I think youguys are great! When you kept talking about Rock n Roll I kept thinking of the 70's. I thought maybe you were a singer or had a band of some sort. I like old time rock n roll. When Opryland theme park was still open in Nashville, Tennesse, there was a whole section in the park that played this type of music. I havent thought on that in a long while. Time just keeps flying! Love you guys! WISHING you both continued HAPPINESS!
