My favorite theme from Dawntrail. I do miss FF14. I miss my Sage.

FFIV was the first one I played and when I heard this it reminded me of times playing with my dad. My reaction was, "We can't lose, not while this theme is playing, we're finishing this fight!"

2:33 God I love that part so much. I wasnt as big a fan of the second half of the msq, but man did the music more than make up for it. The final dungeon and trial were especially worth it just for how the music made me feel.

Say what you want about the quality of DT’s story (I think it’s much better than the internet makes it out to be), but the shift in tone and setting this dungeon accomplished gave me chills. I did not see it coming at all. And old school final fantasy fans get to appreciate the huge nod to FF9.
