@TheMentalHealthToolbox I do have a request I hope you can help with. PTSD and PMS. As I'm sure you know, serotonin is essential in moderating fight and flight behaviors. During PMS, our serotonin takes a hit, potentially making PMS or PTSD symptoms much worse if triggered. It can take me to straight up meltdowns. I'll be crying for a couple of days afterward, and I have to keep everything as calm as possible to help get my nervous system get back to normal. I don't think it is discussed enough. It's not like this every cycle. Only when really triggered. I'm sure there are some male specific issues related to PTSD as well, and those would be wonderful for everyone to learn about.
@TheMentalHealthToolbox17 күн бұрын
@@hpy2balive136 thank you so much for sharing. This would be a great topic indeed. PMDD is a real issue and you are absolutely right, with PTSD added to the equation it is imperative to think of how to cope ahead before the cycle begins. I will add this to my topic list and credit you in the video for the question and tag you in the description 🙏

Great informative video! Just came across your channel and find it very helpful. I am a Lay Counsellor located in South Africa and have just completed some courses, currently volunteering at a Counselling Centre. Unfortunately, the course did not include Progress Note taking so this comes as a welcome addition to my learning. Would you perhaps have anything in your toolbox that deals with Setting Boundaries and also Self-Help/improvement after failed relationship? I have two clients whom I have identified with struggling with these two issues and so would be helpful if I could find some resources to aid with helping them move forward. Much appreciated and thanks for your time. Greetings from South Africa.

Question: do you pay people for UX trials before launching a site, mobile/desktop/ app or otherwise? I feel I could give discounted services as an LMT - or what would you reasonably pay someone to provide ux feedback for your website? What kind of questions would you ask besides ease of navigation? I'm starting my new Private practice as a licensed massage therapist and would like as much feedback as possible. Thanks 😊

I am anxious preoccupied. And I'd like to thankyou, as I read/hear/am told over and over about my traumatic childhood, which iv always struggled with, as I was loved very much by both parents and wanted for nothing... they did however have work alot!. You mentioned these dynamics without creating a villan or making me a victim in the story so thankyou for that! Also it unlocked a memory of me chasing my mums car every Friday night as she drove away for work every weekend.. dad worked 8-5.30 every weekday and mother the weekends.. and running after her car clearly that effected me! Although I have lots and lots of memories of us as a family, alot of the routine was alot like parent swap.. they later divorced so I then experienced that in full lol..
