So, would you like to travel fast to the truck with the chaser bin each time you have a new load and speed up the unloading to don't hold the combine with a full tank? Or would you like to take the load of 3 combines, then run to the truck and unload peacefully knowing there are 2 additional carts that could take 2 batches of grain and give you a 15 minutes time window for unloading and traveling? A chaser bin is more important than you might think.

Because a Lexion 780 has a 12500 liters tank that gets filled in less than 7 minutes, while the unloading takes almost 2 minutes, so a full unloading fills the chaser bin with approximately 17000 liters. So a full chaser bin takes about 2.35 combine tanks. If the traveling to the truck and unloading from the chaser bin takes more than 7 minutes that you have between combine tank filling, you need an additional chaser bin that has to take the load from the combine.

Makes me want switch from nursing to farming.

Why would you need a 30ton chaser bin if the biggest combine in the world Lexion 780 only has a 12 ton tank?

the primary number is the series number so as haylockmedia says, this is an 8r and then the 3 following numbers are the hp so 345hp in this case. so all the new series run this so if you see a 6210r it is a 6r series with 210hp etc etc! hope that helps
