All housing and industrial development, even at the village level, should align with the master plan. Master plans should be prepared by dividing the land into sectors, considering the natural slope of the area. Failure to do so may result in chaos, as already evident in Zirakpur, Kharar, Naya Gaon, and along the Airport Road from Kurali to Mohali.

Everybody wants nearby chandigarh. Really wonderful city. Even mohali pkl could not b copied and pasted like chd. no match at all with chd. Zirakpur societies culture is emerging very fast and augur well as wrk on infrastructure is going on fastly.

I used to study at Chandigarh long back and all the low lying around Chandigarh are not filled with thousands of 10-20 story buildings😮. Without doubt this a pure nexus among colony builders and approvers to loot life long saving of common man.

Ohhh mere veero ...na zirakpur..na kharar , even hamara koi bi city liveable nahi if you compare to usa canada newszealand Australia.punjab Road infrastructure is so so pathetic even state is undermassive debt. I don't think they will make any better cities like noida.. our gurgaon is also a failed city with a heft price tag of air pollution and flooding. It's better that some can find other countries to live in .

Hi, i recently shifted back to delhi because of this rain, i use to live on VIP road which is one of the peak and posh and most developed areas of zirakpur. From past 8 year out of 10 years i use to face little bit of waterlogging problem l, which was not manageable at all but still i managed, u wont believe in 2022 my house was drowned and water leveels were till knees, it was horror for my family as i had to evacuate my home at middle 3 am with just one teeshirt, my parents are old my niece was 1 year old at that time, i lost everything in that year but then i finally planned to go back to delhi and settled there as i did everything to stop water coming into my house.

There are 2 types of mohali, One is the GMADA sector and the other is GMADA approved sector. GMADA approved sector is risky investment as they are being developed by private builders, there reputation is bad. GMADA sector is govt developed and is secure investment. Lastly there is third typw, called mohali, balongi, kumbra, sohana but they are hazard developement and come under gram panchayat which doesn't have building bylaws.

there no jobs in cities like zirakpur and the traffic is worse the property prices are intentionally inflated because of back money dont but flats in tricity

Gharuan Master Plan Punjab Government Plan kar rahi hai.. this development will shape area better way as comparable to Zirakpur. I heard TATA company is coming up with 5 star Hotel on Kharar Ludhiana road in future.
