I studied oboe in college, but it occurs to me I went to the wrong sort of school. I would have loved to have the chance to really go into historical performance and extinct instruments.

A very famous musician, singer and composer in Brazil (Renato Russo), created the modern version of this song using only the instrumental in reference to medieval times. The song is called "A Ordem dos Templários" by the band "Legião Urbana" of which he was a member. I like both the modern version and the original!
