Very nice tower. I also like how its taller than us bank tower but the bank tower is still the center piece of the skyline.
@californiamade56084 жыл бұрын
SuperDuperBoy/SDB definitely. US Bank is much better centered and still a beauty
@alzallas23024 жыл бұрын
I would still consider US Bank Tower as being legitimately taller than Wilshire Grand by roof height and height of highest occupied floor. In terms of roof height there is a nearly 100 feet difference. I wouldn't really include spires and antennaes.

How did you get it to look like it's able to lift a camera when they are too heavy and underpowered to lift off the ground after removing everything including the heavy bottom cover!
@grahamt66388 жыл бұрын
+Steve C if you saw one that's too heavy to fly, it was built by an idiot who didn't power it properly. Like any quad it will fly with the proper power system.You can make a brick fly with the right motors and esc's.
@stevec21968 жыл бұрын
They are supposed to be RTF (ready to fly) models from HobbyKing! I guess their idea of RTF is a lot different from mine because I expected it to actually be able to fly! I realize now that HobbyKing are idiots because they used red thread lock on the screws that makes it nearly impossible to fix since none of the screws will come out without drilling them out or grinding off the heads. So anyway, how was this one made to look like it could fly?

+NeubX How did you install the gimbal to the Venture? Did you have to connect it to the battery, or was it enough to just plug in the tilt and pitch cables to F1 and F2 ports on the Naza? Appreciate any assistance...
@NeubX9 жыл бұрын
gtinteg On the Gimbal, there are a bunch of cables that come out the back, one of them is for power. It uses a small JST connector. Inside the Venture there is a place you can solder on something for power, so I used the the corresponding JST connector and powered it that way, which really just comes straight off the battery. I use a 3S, which is 11.1 V and that is what the gimbal requires. I also drilled a hole in the bottom of the Venture and ran all the cables through that. Also, you connect the tilt and pitch to your RX, because the Quanum Q-3D Gimbal has its' own controller, and you control the pitch from your TX, I used Ch 8, and programed a knob to point the camera down when I needed to. I hope that helps.

Hey j this is j from group...my 200mW was behaving same way...should only do this when directly overhead because circular polarized creates a doughnut bubble transmission or when trees,goal sign,etc in the way as 5.8 is easily disrupted...mine was behaving the same because i fired it up w/out antenna for 10 seconds...upgraded to 600mW and was getting 800+m flawless but now i'm getting 500m and don't know why...200mW should get 1Km and 600 mW should get 2Km+...I blame my issues on VRx not matched perfect...VTx=5.860 and Walkera VRx=5.866 not sure if small discrepancy makes a difference...maybe upgrade to 600mW Vtx but watch out for cheepy Eachine versions cause they overheat and shut down...and boscam puts out 12v which will smoke your 5v cam...Immersion is $75...also you can try changing your dip switches on 200mW to get a closer match on your VRx, I sent you a chart few days ago...I was able to remove Vtx from Venture without removing lower shell only top covers and 2 screws from rear of lower shell pull apart just enough to wiggle Vtx up and out to access dip switches, gotta remove antenna so remember to reinstall before power up...I mention trying dip switches because others have had success switching to a different channel and you mentioned never having powered up w/out antenna...good luck

Is the 3D gimbal turning issue associated with the Naza or is this just an issue with the gimbal? I also heard somewhere that the flight controller is not made for a H quad is this true? Thanks
@NeubX9 жыл бұрын
Maraos The gimbal turns because it is a 3D gimbal. The idea is that it will turn or follow the direction of the quad so it is not as harsh looking. It has nothing to do with the NAZA. The gimbal has its' own controller built in. Yes the NAZA lite is set to an X quad, and not H quad. This might be giving people a spin out when turning quickly. I have not had this problem yet.
@maraos88699 жыл бұрын
Would you recommend this quad for aerial photography??
@NeubX9 жыл бұрын
No. It is a fun quad to fly, and nice to put a Mobius on, but there are better quads for video and photography. I am building a XJ470 for the gimbal I have now.
@maraos88699 жыл бұрын
NeubX What quad within the same price range as the Venture is good for filming? Also what are your thoughts on the DJI phantom series?
@NeubX9 жыл бұрын
Maraos The DJI Phantoms are great quads, now that the Phantom 3's are out, you can get a good deal on the Phantom 2s. The Quanum Nova is really pretty good, and only 299, and 99 for a gimbal. You really can't go wrong with any of the Ready to Fly quads.
@maraos88699 жыл бұрын
NeubX I heard they had the tendency to "fly away", also there fpv is over wifi which means the range is a little pathetic...
@tobiasknowles55559 жыл бұрын
Maraos probably not man, as you can see in a lot of the venture movies, the H pattern body means that a wide angle lens on a gimbal mounted camera will catch the front area of the quad in the video footage. (unless you point the gimbal down). If you would like a quad for aerial videography around the same money, I think some of the tarot setups are great, something around the 600mm size with a naza controller would be good for even medium wind conditions.

Moises, First time quad? Yes and No. If you are already into R/C and know how to program a remote control and you know a little about what your doing or are ok with looking stuff up online, then yes. This one was not hard, you have to add your own R/C radio and 6 to 9 ch. receiver. You also need a computer to program the Flight Controller which is a Naza M lite. Then you can add a gimbal and GoPro. If you have no idea what you are doing but just want to fly something, then get a DJI Phantom2 or a Blade 350 or a Quanum Nova, or any of them that have a controller and a Quad with GPS. Good luck to you.

Thanks for sharing...Very stable...Have you noticed any 180 spinouts during fast forward flight when heavy yaw/rudder is applied??? Are you using stock delux version??? I need to slow almost to a crawl before rudder or will 180...insane with goggles on...I'm using 1045 props...3S 5200mAh(16+ min flight)...Lite firmware hack to V2(solves all gps drift issues)...Gains 145 125 110 140 110 110...May I ask your gains? check this retract gear, bolt pattern is perfect only need to add spacers www.aliexpress.com/item/Electric-Retractable-Quick-Install-Landing-Gear-Skid-Carbon-for-FPV-DJI-Phantom-Vision-2-1/32261840194.html ...HK video switcher just restocked in US West!!!...VENTURE ON
@NeubX9 жыл бұрын
I have not had an 180 spinouts, and I have tried it a few times, but no spin out. I did get the deluxe version, and I have not yet upgraded to V2 yet, but it is on my list of things to do. I am also using 1045 props, but I am using 3S 4000mAh and I get about 12minutes. I like those retracts, but I don't know if the frame is strong enough with just spacers for really any kind of gear. The crummy tall landing gear for the Venture is flimsy, I had to put some tape between them just so that gear would not collapse on a hard landing. (you can see it in the video.) I also swapped out the gimbal anti vibration balls for some better ones, and I also now have my props balanced.
