How do you get to the steam folder of the non steam version of balatro, because for me it is also non-steam but it doesnt show to the right files for it

@@punksyshinobi6610 so u wouldnt use steam to open the folder, u just open up the folder that you downloaded, the folder that has the Balatro application. Although if u have epic games or something it would be in a that folder etc

I followed all the intructions in the video, but when I try to launch the game I get a message saying something went wrong "attempt to index global pokermon_config (a nil value)". Any ideas?

hmmm do u have the config.lua file within your appdata>roaming>balatro>mods>pokermon?

@@SimoV222 no I bet it’s your windows defender catching the file cuz it thinks it’s malware, if you go to your defender and allow the file it should stay

So when I did this on my desktop, It literally deleted all the game files as soon as I loaded up the HMW launcher, and then when I press verify game files it then says the game files needed are not found... well no shit it deleted all the files needed to even load the damn game and the launcher itself doesn't load properly like the announcements wont load but on my gaming laptop I got it working perfectly no hiccups or anything.

@@caponesmokes5672 u shouldn’t have to, it was ur mwr game files in ur steam folder that got deleted? Cuz that’s where ur h2m save data is. And if so Idk how the launcher could do that. If the launchers not loading properly maybe antivirus caught a file or something

when I attempt to run HMW-launcher-updater-.exe it doesnt show up. I tried to run it as administrator and nothing happened. I am on the latest Windows 11

running hmw-lkauncher-updater doesnt do anything besides pop up a box that says run the actual launcher, ur supposed to open HMW Launcher.exe

@watchNFX yeah so I found out yesterday in the discord that apparently it's supposed to be like that apparently. Some one else asked about it yesterday and one of the devs told em the same thing. It's under bug reports and launcher issue. So I should be good now then.

Have they fixed that thing yet? I played it the other day and it was borderline unplayable. Feels like MWR, doesn't feel like MW2 at all. Killstreaks didn't work right (predator, ac-130 for sure), semtex was weird, snipers don't make any noise when people shoot them at you. I was pretty disappointed after buying MWR to play it, but i refunded the game and it still works anyway. So if you buy it, refund it after installing the H2M launcher. Don't give asshole activision any money.

@@robertmajors1737 lots of bugs were fixed in the 1.0 release, and they have released 5 more hotfixes already. theyre all in the changelog in their discord and launcher
