Thank you for your video. My car (Toyota Auris 2009 MMT) has a Flashing N issue (fault code: P0810), and I was advised to change the clutch actuator at Toyota RRG, which would cost £2,000. I took my car to the local garage, and the mechanic told me that the actuator's motor is not the correct one. I suspect that the previous owner changed the actuator with the wrong mechanic. He is now searching for the right one in the aftermarket. I have two questions. First, can the actuator be okay with a new motor? Should I also check the transmission fluid?

I am no expert, but the toyota auris mmt is very computerised, the diagnosis machine and fix problems you would not think possible. However i my case simply changing thr clutch and reprogramming fixed the problem permanently I drove 1000s of miles without a single occurance, although almost every mechanic told me new actuator, new gear box no one spoke about clutch..

this doesnt find my device I go into wifi settings and its there but when I put 8 times 8 it says its in correct password

Make sure the board is plugged in switched on and the WiFi name will be something like W016689955 or password 888888888 (8×8) If its not showing at all check to see if you have a wired sign with an ethernet or USB port.. maybe its not a WiFi one.

Hi am having similar problem, I just bought it from a guy he never mentioned this problem.. and one day 5x it went to neutral will driving sometimes at traffic and other time in motion. I live in Manchester tried some mechanics but same story open gear box. They even said to sell it but how do I sell something given me problem to someone else it feels bad. What should I do. Any site I can buy the semi auto clutch?

Crown Road spares toyota experts, Birmingham, Google it, phone them tell them problem, get advise and ask them to send you clutch and give instructions for your mechanic. These guys are express with this exact problem.

Hi man , i have the exact same problem with my yaris 1.4 semi auto and dont know what to do. Now it is working fine but im afraid to go far. Did you replace the clutch and did that solve it? Thanks

Count the pixels, number of dot lights left to right just one line, that is your (length) And then count, top to bottom just one line, that is your height.

I have bought a semi automatic clutch and changed it. After 6months same problem again. I replaced with dem-auto clutch and dit programming but back to same problem after 6months

It's most likely the clutch actuator (which you refer to as semi-auto clutch). Using these MMT cars, you must have a good mechanic who understands MMT very well as well as knowing troubleshooting/repairs with software. Surprisingly, only a few mechanics actually know MMT in these vehicles - even very very experienced regular ones don't. I hope you found/find one.

Hi bro my car has the same problem. The car goes on neutral while running. It has gearbox warning sign on the dashboard. When I turn the key while engine is already running the car goes in drive and runs smoothly but the sign comes back after a while and car goes In neutral again

My toyota aygo 2008 semi auto does this aswell since today. I was on my 3 or 2 when it went to N and i couldnt do anything. Then came the lights stop and it did it again. Luckily i was nearby my home. This is the same problem sir? Thank you in advance

Yeah its bad when it happens on the road. It happened to me also near home, so I barely manage to push it by myself and parke to not block the driveway since it woudlnt receive gas. I though it was maybe because of gearbox oil needs to be changed, but it was chaged three years ago.

Dealer 1k-1.3k, local garage £500 (250 for clutch and 250 programming and labor) just an idea.

@R Fayz, you are the only source i've found that mentions special semi-auto clutch, can you please give more info on this, part number or at least a link

I don't sorry just make sure your mechanic understands that you dont want a standard manual clutch you want a special semi auto clutch. If he dosent understand and is adamantly that manual is ok, then you have the wrong mechanic go to next one.

@@mohmedsakirpatel3676 did you read my message? there is no special semi-auto clutch, i don't know what op talks about, also tested but did not fix the problem: actuator reconditioning (ball bearing mod), actuator electrical motor replace, clutch replace, what idea i also had but did not test was to completely road test the actuator without the big spring inside the actuator, that could be the main culprit causing our wear and lack of force in actuation, i would advise first with someone more experienced though

I'm not 100% sure, but it should be the same thing, what's happening is somewhere between the clutch and the gear selector there is excessive pressure the selector gives up, flashes "n" 9 times our of 10 ist a clutch change. If your from Birmingham I know an toyota expert mechanic guy who will confirm this for free.

@@rfayz733 yeah it tends to happen mostly when the cars stationary or in low gears from still traffic. Hopefully it works

@@South_Central_Southsea In my experience dealers will go straight to the gearbox, even.after an investigation that will cost you 200 odd. I would never recommend the dealer personally. They drain you time and money as far as possible.
