Dude, those marks are from years of discing the field through conventional tillage farming. I have them all over the place
@arkstate
@arkstate 16 күн бұрын
So that was my default answer too, but all the marks are perpendicular to each other and the rock doesn’t match the quartzite in our area. Disc marks just don’t seem to answer the questions.

Finally, someone who stands for us and thinks the way we do. I'm tired of all the special projects the county is doing and it's not coming out of their pockets. After listening to this, Mr Shepard has my vote.

THANK YOU!! Under oath both the STATE and our JDA ADMITTED they did not do their own “due diligence” in looking into the finances of RIVIAN as should have been done before bringing what has proven to be a company that has NEVER made a profit on one EV they have produced and sold! We as citizens looking into this risky California EV Start-up company with no ties to the State of Georgia did! We saw the “red flags” that convinced many, if not all of us here that at best RIVIAN would build and then abandon the newly built or under construction monstrosity over our watershed area. This area we said would, not could be affected by excavation and build site ready perpetration. Now the worst had happened! Our water is spoiled by site preparation. I can only imagine how much worse the damages to our only sources of water would be with the 20 Million sq ft RIVIAN (or any other MEGA INDUSTRY) put in its place. We citizens voices were never allowed to be heard past the point of this original case we won here in Morgan Co under Judge Brenda Trammel’s correct ruling against those who seek to silence our voices still, in these communities of Morgan and Walton!

My Great, great, great (I think) grandfather Murdoch McDuffy was the ranking member (don't know if he was a 1st Lieutenant or Captain) of Company H of the 10th Georgia Regiment which was one of 4 regiments making up Semmes brigade which saw action on July 2, 1863 (Day 2) at Gettysburg. Semmes brigade along with Kershaw, Woffords, and Barksdale made up McLaw's Division which along with Hood's Division where the two I Corps Division available to Longstreet to deploy in the south along south Seminary Ridge throughout Biesecker's woodlot. Semmes Brigade was positioned behind Kershaw's huge South Carolina brigade. Semmes crossed the Emmitsburg Road and joined rallying members of G.T. Anderson's Georgia Brigade of Hood's Division and recovering regiments of Kershaw's brigade (which had been shredded to pieces earlier by multiple Union artillery batteries aligned along Millerstown Road) in Rose Woods to once again clear out the Wheatfield of Union soldiers and advance up to Plum Run. This occurred about the same time as Barksdale's famous charge that collapsed Union dispositions at Sherfy's Peach Orchard. Murdoch survived the battle and the war and moved back to his small plantation in Wilcox County, GA. Sometime in the late 1870s Murdoch who owned large tracks of lands in the Pine Barrens of Georgia sold timber to the new up and coming German Empire which was among other things building up its navy. It being still in the age of sail the long Yellow Pine found throughout much of Georgia then was a valuable commodity for ship building. Paid in cash Murdoch was apparently on his way by train to Macon Georgia where he banked to deposit his earnings. Nobody knows for sure what or how it happened but he was found dead at Bullard train station due west of RobinsAFB (long before it was a thing) with his money gone. Always found his story interesting so I thought I'd share. 🙂

This is really interesting. I both love maps and military history. One really cannot understand or fully grasp military campaigns or individual tactical operations without them. You have a new subscriber. I'm off to see what else you have in your library. One small suggestion is to try and lower the background music a bit. Those things are always tricky with these things and it's also likely something that varies more with the end user PCs, etc. but there it is. Good work!

The only people that stand to make money are the developers that want to tear down the ancient mounds to build townhomes. The folks trying to preserve them don’t stand to make anything and don’t want to. Just want to preserve ancient history!

You should check the frame number on your TT as well. Swapping out engines was a very common thing back then. Check the passenger side frame in the cab. There should be a 8 digit code. If the frame number and engine number are different, it’s not the original engine. I suspect that it might be the case because custom wood cabs were very popular when the TT first came into production but by the end of the run, almost every cab was made by Ford. Who knows, you may have a rare 27 custom body. Keep me updated on your findings! Congrats to Eleanor on her first TT.

I have the same drill but im having issues with the grass seeder not turning. The chain that drives the grass box is extremely lose. Is that my problem? Thanks for any help
@arkstate
@arkstate Жыл бұрын
I don’t think the loose chain would cause it. Assume none of the gears are stripped and the shaft isn’t bent, I would check the engagement slip clutch. I know that’s not it’s name but I’m not near my manual. If there is too much lateral play it will bypass and not engage. Let me know how you make out.

Daddy bought one of these rakes about 15 years ago and it had some rubber teeth on it then. They eventually all broke off where the rubber is stuck on the metal bracket, and we replaced them with the coil type. But I don't know if they were from Shoup, and they may have lasted 40 years before the rubber broke.

I'm late to your channel but thank you so much for all the work your doing to help everyone understand what's happening. My family met you at the Elisha Winn House fair this past year! We live next to city hall in Dacula. Gwinnett county planned to purchase some of our land and all the other neighbors near us in order to widen Harbins road to 5 lanes. It's been 2 years since they gave us the paperwork. I thought when something like this happens, they would give out updates to everyone it would be affecting firsthand, but I learned that's not the case. We finally reached out to them and received a new offer on our land. 3 days later we were told that they had changed their mind and will be taking all the offers back off the table and might proceed with the project in a few years

The people that want to preserve the mounds have no financial gain. We simply don’t want to see history erased. The people that want to tear them down to build a multi use residential development stand to lose a lot if they are preserved and they lose their permits to clear the land and build hundreds of townhomes and homes..
