Rubbing, what rubbing….I thought you had a woodpecker on board lol! But all joking aside, I love the truck and the build! All the injora goodies adds extra points…I have their steering servos, wheels and tires on my crawlers…in fact, six different sizes/sets of tires alone! Very cool vid, keep up the great works!

I have both: they are not made for skate parks, speed on an adequately sized track does not make that much of a difference, handling is not the same at all (mini-z is miles ahead), the micro-b comes assembled like literal shit, I had to reassemble my rear diff and entire steering out of the box cause they were misassembled, battery situation is way better on the mini-z where you can just keep a ton of aaas charged and ready to run and swap them when it's needed, micro-b batteries are nowhere to be found at least in europe, they are custom sized, they're known to fail after few charges and take 1 hour to recharge for 20 minutes of runtime. The micro-b costs half as much and is worth half as much, I find the mini-z to be the superior car in every aspect except repairability, but obviously if all you want is speed and bashing at the skate park the quicker car will look better 100% of the time. Just do not expect 1/24 buggys to be engineered to do that well.

The kraton 4s is a sweet truck man. It's very big. Just a little smaller than the 6s kraton. Super fast too. Turn the punch up to 5 on the esc. Also it comes stock with a 13 tooth pinion gear. I run a 15 tooth. 60mph and will not keep the front wheels down lol. Your going to be so happy. I've seen the mjx reviews.

I don't think we like to see stuff broke. I like to see how durable it is because if it's durable then I'll buy it. If it breaks I'm not going to want to buy it. We just like to see it ran hard Just to see how durable it is. And if it breaks on the way then we can justify the break. But I don't think we like to see things break.

And of course they didn’t bullet proof the Diffs so a VXL system can’t just be put in🤯 Traxxas cannot get out of their own way! Arrma’s dedication to their Customers is 5 times better than Traxxas’s. They actually listen to Core

stop saying it needs more power the diffs blows if you put it on 3 s just be happy with what it is its a mini not a full scale truck im getting one of these to take with me when i go out to a park but not to be a fast demon i have a senton 3s for that i like this video thank you for posting it but all that matters is did it put a smile on your face if not then work on it but not before you test it have a good day and thanks for posting
@Hypeduphobbies-ytАй бұрын
The diffs are why I’m not running it on 3s yet. Once parts availability levels out… Then we’ll see. 16 years in the hobby, it’s normal to want some more power haha. The biggest issue imo is the throttle delay/lock out that occurs on both of our Mini Maxx. Thank you for the reply and enjoy your truck! -Brandon

@@Hypeduphobbies-ytI think that throttle delay has to be a bl2s system thing cause my stampede 4x4 bl2s does the same thing
@Hypeduphobbies-ytАй бұрын
@ThatB5GUY that’s my best guess. I think it’s Traxxas protecting weak drivetrain from beginners but there should be a way to adjust it like punch setting with Hobbywing/Spectrum. -Brandon

Very hard to beat Losi ! I really dislike Kyosho the brand ! In late 90s I owned a nitro powered Kyosho. I had constant issues with the rear diff. I love running AAA batteries in the mini cars. That's 1 reason i like Mini Z. Get some good rechargeables for a decent price, can use them in other electronics too. I got a stage 2 motor for like 13 bucks on ebay, way worth the money. Losi is a great deal though. I dont think you can go wrong with that one, I Like them both. The updated V2 brushless kyosho buggy just came out. Its over priced, but i got it anyways...

The losi IS faster, but it's also a little too fast for it's scale in some situations. The kyosho is meant to be a very scale vehicle, speed and all, not really a basher. They're meant for 24th scale carpet or foam tracks and driving both I'd say the kyosho is much easier to control and race with, but if youre willing to master it the losi can be a better option because of its greater speed. Mini z basically always have repair parts cuz kyosho is really good about that, not sure how long losi will make the replacement parts. Hop up parts are gonna be more available with the Z too, whereas the losi youre gonna be hard modding changing most things. Its hard to choose between them, and it should be because theyre both excellent in what theyre good at. Id say go kyosho if you want a long term investment in a moddable rc, and losi if you want quick fun nao, or a faster but harder to control top end. Cant really go wrong either way.

1. I know it says in the manual it gets hot but for me it gets too hot to touch for 3 seconds when crawling at low speed. Is it the same for you also ? 2. Under load, when slowly accelerating I can feel ( at about 1/3 throttle ) a slight jerk like as the speed controller switches operating modes. It does not happen when suspended. Is it the same for you ?
