I had a 2006 goldwing and had the same problem the older we get harder to handle. Sold mine and got my 22klr650 sand color and just enjoy the heck out of this thing. We ride about the same way. I'm 64 years old and can't do what I used to do

You hang in there enjoy it as long as you can buddy . Time gets away from us 25 years old one day and look in the mirror and your 60 where did time go . 👍

South west Lawrence County and into Orange county it’s called Union Church Road then turns into Natchez Road. Nothing there but it’s beautiful back in there.

Thanks for sharing. You ended up riding gravel roads, how were road conditions for the most part? around the forest out there?

Roads are pretty good condition some loose gravel in places but was really a good ride. I will be going back .

Add some grip monkey foam over grips to reduce vibration. I couldn’t ride mine without them. Had them on a previous Harley bagger too.

Thank you sir I appreciate the kind words. Yes this KZbin thing has been a lot of fun . I guess it has been good therapy as well. I recently sold my big bike the Valkyrie. I am really enjoying this 23 KLR I am having a blast.

Since we are sharing stories, I too started riding at a young age and at 14 got my license. I started blogging when my mom got sick. For many years, I shared my little trips etc with mostly my mom and that is how I eventually got into the KZbin was sharing with friends and family. I am so sorry to hear about your brother, father and mother. I lost my mom mothers day 2011, I will never forget the day. I miss her to this day. I am truly sorry to hear about your brother and dad. I am glad you have the video from your brothers last ride. What a treasure, I will check it out. Brother, be safe out there and enjoy the KZbin, it is a fun community and if I can ever help in any way, reach out and I will always do what I can to help others.. Dale

I am really enjoying your channel and just last knight I found a couple more of your channels. You do a little bit of everything lolololol that’s great. Hey! Thanks for subscribing. I find it uncanny that you stumbled upon me and vice versa. I too love riding, and my brother was just recently diagnosed with stage IV cancer. He is fighting it currently. Life is short, I know it. Surviving End Stage Renal Failure changed how I look at the world. Subbed and ride safe friend!

A milestone of a bike,many years ago was given a ride as a pillion passenger on a CB750 F1-it was one of the fastest bikes I,ve been on ,the rider barely pausing on the throttle thru corners!💎
