I believe you can only use the gen5 lower parts. If you're putting it together from a stripped frame you can go with the new Glock performance trigger and upgrade it with a Johnny Glock trigger shoe. Any gen slide lock, gen 5 pins (any gen might work but not 100% sure), gen 4/5 mag release and spring, and a gen5 locking block and last the shootingsportsinnovations.com/ssi-tungsten-slug-g/ iv been testings a g45 with a the above set up plus a radian Afterburner so more of a fun range set up or open class and love it.

So far so good. I haven't had any issues with it.

Just slightly. You can hit up close with it but trying to use the big dot to hit an A zone that is just slightly co witness makes it a hard task past 15-20 yards. I'm planning on switching to the new Holosun EPS red dot and go back to the standard x-ray sights.

Im kinda new to this and i have a hard time understanding why the red dot wouldnt be right on the front sight? Because if your irons are sighted in and you put the red dot like a lolipop on the front sight then wouldnt that mean the dot is sighted right too???? Or is the irons and red dot supposed to be sighted at 2 different distances??????

@@904duval8 the red dot is a lot more accurate than irons. You can impose the dot on your irons and should be just about spot. Once you start practicing with the red dot you start focusing on the target and imposing the dot onto the target. You really only have the irons as a backup for if the dot were to be off or broken or not bright enough.

I never shot it with the factory slide, so I can't speak on that. I'd imagine it would shoot close the the same as the dot replaces the weight from the cut. Would be cool to see if we can get manufacture's to post the amount of weight dropped from the cuts

It's still very much concealable. And yes factory sites work well but dots work better. And I'm positive Jack Carr and every other Seal can shoot better than me and your average person. So I'll take any advantage I can add.

If you carry appendix or even small of the back with a gun this size the optic does not detract from concealment. It is the grip that pokes through the shirt. Any mag extension adds to this. I don't carry with an optic just because if you need it, and the battery is dead, now what? Probably 95% of people who carry are not proficient with a dot, and don't practice enough with it to be 100% confident of finding the dot quickly when drawing under stress. I have 4 optic guns that I use in competition, have practiced drawing and getting off that first round in under 1 second (not from concealed) and hitting the vital zone ( A or C for those who know what that is) at up to 7 yards. It took thousands of dry fire drills to get to that point, and live fire to prove that I can. In my opinion, you are better off being able to point shoot out to 7 yards without using any sighting device. If you have a cover for your dot, leave it on and do 30 dry fire draws from the holster, just to get used to drawing and getting a consistent grip on the gun. Then take off the cover and do 30 more, making sure you can see the target through the window. Now turn on the dot and do 30 more to see if the dot is where you want it on the target. If it is, go to live fire and see what happens. If you are not hitting your spot in live fire, it is most likely trigger control. Start at 4 yards and gradually over time move all the way out to 7 yards. This doesn't happen over a weekend, but many hours at home, and many trips to the range. At least now you should be confident that if your dot is dead you should still get a good first hit on your target. I heard this on KZbin from a Grand Master competition shooter. Think about it, it makes prefect sense. You don't practice until you get it right, you practice until you can't get it wrong.

I added the Combat Wilson XL grip module to the stock P365, added a Holosun 507k red dot and use a We The People holster with claw for a P365 and it is virtually invisible with a 12 round mag (actually 14 rounds using Magguts spring assembly) in the Appendix carry position. The claw makes that grip handle fold right into your body and it cannot be seen at all.

Yes. You can take the sights off of the original slide and put them onto the live free slide. They will sit low but you should still be able to see the tip of the front post.
