Ron and Doug are the best mix duo I’ve ever worked with, and with Richard King it’s a total dream team 💪🏼 Amazing sounding movie, congrats to the whole crew!

Произвели действительно важную и хорошую работу. Вряд ли в текущий момент можно найти работы мододелов, которые не довольны звуком. Это и есть заслуга

Excellent sound design, soundtrack, oldies selection, and irradiated Yao Guai noises. (Those scenes were shot at Rosendale NY's Widow Jane Mine.)

Astounding interview! It was amazing to hear how the sound was made from the designers themselves. This will help me a lot for a university project, thank you!

Hi, I'm a video editor of storytelling team for Ciaopeople Media Group and, the italian publisher of Geopop the most popular scientific channel in Italy. I am writing to you about this video because I would like to achieve a videostory about Las Vegas MSG Sphere (for our Facebook, Instagram and KZbin channels) because I think it could be interesting for all our readers. That’s why I’m asking your permission to use your video, crediting you.

Right? You'd think that a video showcasing a state of the art sound system would have... um... sound?

if that movie was mixed using wisdom audio speakers i will throw the movie in the cat litter box , i will not have rubbish mixed on wisdom audio speakers , no one cares about hollywood sound mixers anymore , atmos mixes are rubbish

Finally got to see this movie, great stuff. But the sound mix, wow. As someone who has been in audio for 4 decades, I was jaw droppingly impressed. I mean, masterpiece. Should have won about a billion awards.

Great Job From JBL and especially George. As F.O.H. Engineer for the last 35 years, using various systems over the years on tours and in theatres , the A Series system is a really clean , powerful , Excellent sounding and to be honest the softest top end I've ever experienced in a P.A. System !!!!

Thanks guys, so nice to hear you chat. One interesting point thst i learned from my counterpoint professor at Berklee (90-94 for me) said that historically there was zero sinister nefarious jealousy or big plots. He said that aspect of Amadeus was all dramatic fantasy to be received better by the masses. I was bummed to learn that. Thanks brothers, I appreciate your hard work and focus and excellence! Huzzah!

I just saw this film in a theater with a technical problem in their sound. No surrounds. It was a barren cinematic experience. And I couldn't tell how much music was missing because some was in the center channel, but I suspect quite a bit was just gone. The absence of so much rendered many scenes ridiculous. It reminded me of a long time ago when someone from Zoetrope asked me to make a dub of a bunch of digibeta reels of a far-from-final cut of Sophia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides for the musical group Air so they could work on the soundtrack, and of course I had to babysit every minute of the dub. So I had to attentively watch a 5 hour no-music cut of a film that absolutely relied on the music. Excruciating, but kind of fascinating.

Great conversation! I've yet to see the movie, but so looking forward to, particularly after viewing this self critique about the making of the sound.
