There is a trick with this beast. You can run through and go up that ladder and then find a way back to those rats and you can kill beast from above with bow. Just dont use site of grace between, because will reset a beast.

=)) relatable. you might experience the similar situation if you get to fight an optional boss in Tower of the Unseen, in which you would be warped through a warp hole to fight an Aberration. Once it is dead, it drops many items and if you kill it from a distance you might not have a chance to pick up :D because you would be warped out immediately.
