My friends in 92, 93, 94, and beyond couldn't understand my love of this band. "Love is on the way," introduced me to them. It was the 1st song/intro at my sister's eulogy followed by Slaughters "Fly to the Angeles" outro. After I got my hands on "The Lizard" album I found their 1st album. New World, What you say, Suzy, especially "Colors", Love of God, Come take me now.... all are some of the best songs I've ever heard. My hope is to see them once in my life.

This was my first "favorite song" growing up. I must have been like 9 or 10 at the time. I remember buying the cassette at a record store only for my parents to find it some weeks later and I got in crazy trouble because there's a track on the album called MF'er. This song however still stands out to me so many years later. What's funny is how I can hear the influences in this song that dictated my current taste now in music. It's funny the little things that happen in our youth that carry such heavy influences for the rest of our lives.

I'm kind of upset that there is like a completely new verse here that I would have never heard because I have the explicit version of the album.

This video is weirded out. Looks like it was shot in L.A. so it's no wonder. Still has smokin hot chicks in it. The 90's sucked a big one, but one hit wonder ear candy like this made them a little bearable. Think del amitri were a Scottish band. Maybe it's a Scottish thing for men to be dominated by women. If they're women like these, I wouldn't mind. Use to think this was a Gin Blossoms song, but it's too upbeat.
