Someone please tell his face he’s happy about owning and driving Tony’s Aussie touring car, as a teenager in the U.K. , I loved watching Tony take it to the Sierra’s at Bathurst and all the other tracks…Philip island, Oran park etc….great days….great racing, certainly no quarter given..👍👌🇮🇲🏆

Bit of an unfortunate video considering the eventual outcome, lots of mistakes made under pressure to perform, feel sorry for the pilot. As one myself I hope I can take the lesson home and not make pressured mistakes myself

Excellent comment. With no pressure, Im sure Hayden would have opted out of the landing due to the stiff quartering tailwaind. I think he did well not to have a worse accident given the difficulty of the landing. A great lesson on human factors here and yes, as a fellow pilot, I sincerely hope I can overcome peer pressure of this level

He was slipping all the way down, but even with the damaged tail, if he had just stayed there in the ground it wouldn't have been such a big deal

DO NOT USE THIS GET THE JOB RIGHT FIRST OR TIGHTEN THE BELTB DOWN AT THE TENSIONER IF BELT IS STILL IN GOOD CONDTION! Or you could just replace your belt your self. Usually its easy on most cars and usually the price of your can of spray. This is a wd40 product you should stay away from !!!!!

The telecast on Seven has too many commercial breaks and they are badly timed. If something “interesting” is happening, drop the ad and go back live. Really disappointing, really frustrating!!!!

Yeah not good. Looked like a tough approach under pressure but worrying to think no visual inspection prior to taking off after the hit. Feel for the pilot but not good. Yikes

If the residual charge in your battery is very weak or the battery is very flat this whiz bang doesn't even recognise it as a battery when you put the clamps on and switch the charger on. You will need an old fashioned grunter to get some sort of charge into the battery to get started or attach a fully charged battery to the dead one then attach the whiz bang terminals to the dead battery to get it to work.

Formula One has sadly become highly sanitized. I guess that happens with progress. As a youngster growing up in South Africa we, as did I am sure, Australia, had our own local Formula One series. When the World Championship came to our shores there were several locals competing in the SA Grand Prix in their own privately funded cars. Rhodesian John Love pioneered sponsorship in F1 before Lotus did, securing tabacco giant Gunston. I remember seeing Jack Brabham win one of the SA GPs and I always admired the Aussie effort in F1 as it was similar to the local home grown stuff in South Africa, albeit way more successful.

Looked with lust at someone who isn't your spouse or slept with someone outside of marriage?
