When injectors and everythink works in normal parameters and the engine is at operating temperature then consumption is quite low. I travel long journeys on highway speed between 130-150 and have an average consumption little under 6L/100km. But if you use the car mostly for short city trips then the consumption of course will be way higher

I heard that BMW has a highly stable and good balance when driving at curses even on high speed, and I believe that.

Had a Land Cruiser with BFG mud terrain tires. Couldn’t get it stuck, had a Jeep with BFG mud terrains, couldn’t get it stuck, have a 2022 2wd Toyota Tacoma with toyo open country AT/3s, couldn’t get it stuck. Had a Range Rover, never got to find out cause BFG didn’t make a mud terrain for it, didn’t matter cause the damn thing never ran.

At least these won’t get nicked like the newer Range Rovers brilliant cars especially off road as all Land Rovers are but they are full of flaws.

Continuity error in filming? Or does the RR apply the brakes/lights on downhill descent mode?

I used to drive around in a two year old Range Rover for my job in about 1991, it was an F reg with the 3.5 petrol engine. Very nice and comfortable to drive long distance or round town, and surprisingly reliable although terrible fuel economy but the V8 sounded fantastic. The heater matrix sprung a leak once though, cost about 600 quid to fix I seem to remember.

Here in the U.S., we call these "Sunday Drivers". Just like most British vehicles built in the last 40 years that have been sold here, you drive a Range Rover on Sunday, and then it breaks down on Monday. It spends all week in the shop and then you pick it up on Saturday and go straight home with it. On Sunday you go out for a drive and by Monday morning it's back at the shop to repeat the maddening cycle all over again. At least with a Jeep, you can get about two weeks between breakdowns.

a SUV that would fit in that environment that isnt a range rover, would be the volvo xc90.
