I’m not getting enthusiastic about this interview, it sound like it is not very well prepared. The interviewer is thinking of questions during the interview which makes it slowly and perhaps a bit boring too.

"Figure out how to get people to hear about you from someone they trust, as apposed to being bothered (by you)" I think customers really want to communicate with businesses but, businesses have forgotten how to communicate with customers. In this digital world, time has become our most precious resource and currency. When businesses allow their representatives to take the time to communicate on a personal level with their customers, we feel valued and will tell people who trust us about their great experiences. I don't want a 3 minute conversation with a discount code for my troubles, I want to be heard, understood and reassured that a company will do better. I don't want a generic letter thanking me for my nice comments, I want someone to take the time to write back to me and feel like a personal connection has been created.

Familiarity breeds trust is really a great way to put it. When agencies have been around, and have been delivering value, they create a story about themselves and become the "go to" agencies. Great job, Shama!!

(1) Great remarks by David, as always (2) Please just ask questions and allow your guests more time to talk (3) Please don’t reiterate everything your guest just said More of them talking, less of you talking would make a more effective interview.
