Yes and we hired a trailer for a few months to allow us to go out with the boys but we’ve now given this back

Loved the video! You'll will get better and better with time and more rides. And just love the sound of hooves :-) Does he have the urge to walk faster on the way back? How do you address it?

Thank you so much for your lovely comment 😊 he’s definitely getting better with the tractors so going past in company has been a great step forward! Yes he does march a lot more on the way home or thunder walk/trot as I like to call it. If I’m company I keep half halting to fry and get him to slow down or sometimes go behind the other horse to slow him down 😂 alone I tend to let him do it to be honest, as long as he’s still listening (attempting to slow when I half halt, halting when I ask etc) and I’ll keep working on it to get an improved reaction hopefully!

I think cross country is his favourite thing to do! As soon as he sees that start box he knows what’s going on and I loose my ability to break 😂

Nice video! I've done mostly train riding but enjoyed this one. Next time you go hacking, can you make a similar video as the GoPro video from last year? It was fun watching you ride through the streets and hearing the hooves on the road.

Omg I can’t imagine that! And if they’re driving a tractor they should know not to go that fast! (assuming they live/work where people go out on the roads a lot)

It was quite scary! So thankful he was very calm as he is used to tractors but never that close I don’t think. The yard isn’t far so this road is used regularly by riders so hopefully they’ll be more careful next time.
