The great teacher,my teacher Maha Thero Bhanthe suvanno. How i experience nibanna? How you experience nibanna and jhanna adsobtion? For vipasanna meditators, upon the last moment of your vipasanna maturity, your mind will be momentarily free from greed, hatred, delusions. In the that single moment, your will experience the last noble truth, that is you will experience the path that leads to the end of sufferings. For vipasanna practioner that moment when mind is purified the end of sufferrings occurs when your mind shuts down similarly like you are unconcious but your sitting meditation posture are adsorbed in jhanna adsobtion in erect sitting meditation posture which you will not know until you return from nibanna experience. That mean you are in jhanna adsobtion before enter and experience nibanna. Once ceesation of conciousness take over your vipasanna practice that moment you are disconnected from your inbreath, outbreath and that mean you are no more existing in samsara in that moment and you experience what is Nibanna. That experirnce of nibanna has nothing connected to this sensual samsara existence meaning there is no such things as happiness or sadness. Ceesation of conciousness means you have stop to exist in this nama rupa.So the 4th noble truth explain it to us as end of suffering. So ceesation of conciousness is similar to no mind,no body no nama rupa. One who experience this ceesation of conciousness now understand the 4 noble truth clearly and understand the difference between nibanna and samsara. This the moment when the disconnection of samsara existence occur when vipasanna mind purification is completely developed and the mind is purified and is free from greed, hatred and delusions. The vipasanna meditator will be in vipasanna sitting posture adsorbed in extreme pleasuable sensation at that moment of nibanna experience when conciousness cease. Everything happen very quickly but very clearly. When the mind cease he enter magga and phalla and he will not know. When he return from magga(14 vipasanna nana magga nana) Phalla(15 vipasanna nana phalla nana) he returns to this jhanna adsobtion body sitting in erect sitting meditation posture and still not knowing what had occured as he is in strong jhanna adsobtion. He is not concious of having a body and no hindrance at that time as jhanna adsobtion with extreme pleasure sensation are the object and he did not know existence of samsara(there is no Knowledge of samsara existence with a body and a mind ) After a while the jhanna adsobtion begin to subside and he begin to be aware of his primary object that is his inbreathing and outbreathing is so easy and does not need effort. And at this point he also can realise his sitting posture is erect and feel very relax and comfortable and accompany with happy feelings. Then suddenly he recollect(16 vipasanna nana arise paccavekkhana nana) there was a moment when his mind shuts down. He remember every things clear and he saw that moment there was a cut off and he experience nibanna. He see nibanna has nothing to do with samsara existences. He is now one who has experience the direct experience and tasted the meaning of the 4noble truth the ceesation of nama rupa where all suffering ends. He is now a stream entry one worthy of respect and is now an Ariya. The first time ceesation of conciousness one is a sotapanna. The second times ceesation of conciousness one is a sakadagami. The 3rd times ceesation of conciousness one is a anagami. The 4th time ceesation of conciousness, one is Arahat and he sees everything's clearly for the last time. This is why the Buddha say come and experiences it yourself and to come to know what i have know for the ending of all sufferrings.....nibanna. May all vipasanna meditators work digently in perfecting your vipasanna inbreath outbreath contemplation until the mind is fully purified. Suki hotu. Buddhang saranam gacchami.
