Just my two cents in terms of Zander, as a man who is 49 years old. I believe his issues lie with a lot of life changes happening so quickly and I also think he may have lost his sense of independence. Men often cater to their partners because it's their nature to do so but sometimes they lose their sense of self/independence along the way. For instance, now he can't just visit his brother close by to break away from things. Men aren't interested in going out to meet new people when they move and traditionally rely more often than not on brothers and friends. Especially if he's working from home and not socializing at work. If you are living semi-rurally, men need their independence based on building things (carpentry), taking care of farm like animals, working on cars in the garage, just something that gets them out of the house. Something that's very consistent and separate from their partners. Where their partner isn't involved. There's nothing worse for a guy than being stuck indoors all the time in a house in a rural kind of setting. Next to having brothers/friends, men need to have outside the house (but on the property) independence and their final 'fall back' during times of extreme stress is intimacy as a pressure relief. The straw will break the proverbial camel's back if that part isn't there.

I think you are trying to hold on to your passion, what used to make you happy, and yes, this is also your income. But from what I’ve seen, you are so much more than short content on KZbin and you have the creativity, strength and also the energy within you to take on different areas of life. You keep saying you liked KZbin better when it was a hobby - maybe you can turn it back into your hobby rather than a source of income and work in a field that interests you and gets your head someplace else for a while. Something that you aren’t measured only in your personality, but other qualities as well. Wishing you the best, we all make changes and it’s just human and makes a lot of sense. Listen to your stomach.

Renee I think something that seems to be missing from your life is community and connection. I feel like community service or getting involved in a church community or something similar would be good. you spend so much time on yourself, going inward, goals, reflections, mindset, routines, resets etc. you need balance. idk just seems like something that would be good for you. make connections, help others, get outside yourself, get a real job maybe. not trying to be mean just something I keep coming back to when I watch your videos.

I recommend saving now, not waiting to save especially into retirement , it takes a long time for the money to add up

I used to watch you often a few years ago and started to sense that YT may not be for you. I think you need to completely leave social media because I can tell it makes your mental health worse. It’s been like this for years. Take care of yourself Renee. Enjoy your life, without the camera. Having so many eyes on you, can take a toll, I imagine. I think getting a job out in the real world will do wonders for you. This cycle on YT is not working anymore and I don’t say any of this to sound cruel. I think you’ve been hurting for a long time and mental health struggles have always been apart of your life. That’s the reality, but I think it can get better for you…off camera. Renee, i feel the exact same way, especially after COVID-19. My life is not the same everrr, and i struggled to have it back again, but i couldn't. i've been struggling since 2020 until now. I know, and i believe that the vaccine had done something to our bodies and our mental health, but im still trying to get back to my old life. I hope we can do it.

Hey Renee...having just miscarried at 13 weeks recently, I just want to say..please give yourself grace. I'm a full time mom without having to perform, other than making sure my family is fed and cared for that having my husband being busy at work and solo parenting for over a week has been overwhelming for me. So, imagine you, having your channel, having the emotional hardship of a miscarriage, plus your dad's passing though not recent, there is still grief plus you have a younger child which needs more of you plus what happened to your dog plus you had a difficult first pregnancy. Gosh...so much. Anyone would have broken down way before you did. You are strong but now is the time to be weak, to lean into Him and fill YOUR cup. Now is putting yourself first. I know you are a very hardworking person and you set high goals for yourself and I know people give you shit for it but if you don't announce, with such a big channel, people will keep asking too. Those who actually care about you, will give you time. Having said that, please take care and know you are not alone. ❤
